Man Dies After Wife Crushes Testicles

ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - An enraged Ethiopian mother of five will be tried for the murder of her husband who died after she crushed his testicles in a fight, police told the state-run Ethiopian News Agency.

Police said on Friday the man was so embarrassed after the incident that he declined to seek treatment for the injury, and died days later

I just WRITTEN commitment from my wife that she WILL get me to the hospital when and if this happens!

Damn! Stories of nut mutilation / injuries always make me a bit queazy.

He was spending the money on booze instead of his family of 5 children.
They got into an argument about it.
She decided to sleep alone because of both of the above.
He got pissed off at this "affront" (to his king-of-the-house position, I suppose) and thought that beating her would provide a positive solution.
In defense, she did the grab and twist maneuver.

And she's the one going to jail.
The world is a very fucked-up place.
