Looking for a new book. Something on real estate investing, tax savings, offshore strategies (legal) or investing in general....

Nothing too complex, my icq is around 110 tops.

Pop up or 3d books a plus!

Read Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by Lefevre. (I think that's the author, the book is at my other house) It's about Jesse Livermore, one of the guys that helped crash the exchange and start the great depression. I've read it 3 or 4 times and it's a great book and really a good overview on market psychology. Market Wizards by Schwager is another good one. It profiles the most successful investors. Every one of them has a different style of investing. Another interesting read.

market wizards is fantastic. although i prefer "the new market wizards"...

i've read it no less than 5 times and i still dont know what the "turtles" know that the average investor doesnt. but i would like to :)

cant go wrong with liars poker. also very intriguing.

Try Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I started to read it but put it some where and can't seem to find it. It's got a lot about how to invest, save, spend, pretty much anything to do with money.

Two of my favorite books. There's a volume II on Market Wizards.

"The Art of Deception" by Kevin Mitnick, hacker friend of Serge. I'm sure Serge can get you a signed copy. Brad, you and Mitnick have a lot in common. Both of you believe that you are social engineering pros.

If you wrote a book, I'm sure you would do what Mitnick did...grab a co-writer who does all the work.

Enjoy! :rokk: :rokk: :rokk:

confucy,
I never either met or know Kevin...but...yes, I was a ghost writer of his book, so?

I knew it was you, Serge, but none of my hacker friends would believe a *porn* person like you would be interested in writing a book.

Norway pictures are beautiful.

confucy,
sorry I couldn't tell you that earlier,
I had a gag order

What would we do without ghost writers!

Brad, if you want to get away from books about business, try anything by Michio Kaku. He is the most intelligent guest I ever heard on the Art Bell radio show. He is a physicist who is an expert concerning the universe. http://www.mkaku.org

You also have a book on "Organization". Perhaps you should read it FIRST....if you can find it.....

Billy 08-09-2003 02:18 PM

Brad I really thought you were more of a pop up kind of book guy

BradShaw 08-09-2003 02:40 PM

Billy, when are we going to pen that gay romance novel we talked about in Cabo? Remember? You said you could write it all, and put my name down as the author?

Billy 08-10-2003 02:02 AM

Buff is proof reading it now, should have it done soon, I know since he has a nice house to sit in and light all the candles it really gets him in the mood, I think the book will be a BIG hit !

Heck I might be able to get me a new car like you : )
