Alexander the Great.

Colin Farrell as Alexander the Great
Anthony Hopkins as Ptolemy

2004.

Vick 07-18-2003 10:45 AM

and here I was hoping for
Natural Born Killers Part II B)

Almighty Colin 07-18-2003 10:47 AM

Great flick, Vick. I'd rather see Alexander than NBK II though. I'd say NBK was pretty complete. The tale is told.

Vick 07-18-2003 11:01 AM

he he he

You would think so but if the Never Ending Story has a part 2 (it does) then I can hope for a NBK II

and I've read some pre release material about Alexander the Great and it sounds like a very interesting project

I really liked Oliver Stone's style, I got to work on the set of JFK when the filmed it in New Orleans, he is one intense man, they did some scenes over and over and over and some times the only change was the camer position and angle.

Nice to see people take pride in their work : )

What did you do on the set? That's really cool.

I look forward to anything Oliver Stone does.

I LOVE the Neverending Story! I was clamming last weekend and I was getting sucked into the mud as I walked and I was thinking of that horse with Atreyu (sp?) I had to think positive thoughts to get myself out of there, lol

Olympias: Angelina Jolie
King Philip II: Val Kilmer

That was a good role for him, Colin... If you've not seen it, I suggest you rent 'The Salton Sea' - possibly one of the bestest Kilmer flicks I've seen... excellent performance! :okthumb:

Haven't seen it. I'll get it. I have a feeling I'd like "Edd Movies".

Yup Kilmer was AWESOME in Tombstone, I love that movie. He was pretty good in heat as well.

Alexander the great movie should be pretty cool. :)

Bex 10-02-2003 03:23 PM

Edd ... Salton Sea looks pretty cool. Thanks for the heads up on that one. Will have to check it out :)

Wow that will be awesome... I just hope it doesn't get romanticized too much...

Maybe Tarrentino will do it as a follow up to Kill Bill, Volume 2

since he wrote the screenplay for NBK and all.........
