SykkBoy 07-07-2003 06:23 PM

That's actually the first time I've seen it as well......I just really couldn't be bothered to watch the whole thing before..

All I can say is someone has a MIGHTY big chip on their shoulder....

Also, I wonder if Jerry Seinfield and Larry Miller know that their music from the show "Seifield" in that production?

Also, I don't remember much nudity from that particular Player's Ball..in fact, weren't there nudity restrictions in the club?

You may wonder why I wasn't in that clip....well, I was outside the Player's Ball (while non-webmasters got hooked up) waiting in line for 2 hours.....

KC 07-07-2003 10:01 PM

Every time I see that I crack up thinking about how R-n put that together..

I can imagine him storyboarding the whole thing in his office with about 35 people sitting around providing input. Designers furiously sketching out the characters... Developing the plot..

That must have taken about a week to do.. Pulling resources from important projects to flex his ego a bit!

hahahaha

Mike AI 07-07-2003 10:46 PM

I cannot beleive that we are here in July, of the year 2003 and some people did not see the flash!!

I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we did....

of course it helps to know the whole story, of the orignal Flash we put up for the original Player Haters Ball..... I think it tooks Sharky's guy like 4 hours to build. ahahaha

It is definately a momument to large Egos, and proved that R-n will always win the big dick contest....

KC recovered from Vegas yet? I missed you that last night.... I needed you!! :P

SykkBoy 07-07-2003 10:50 PM

Mike, I'm familiar with it and the backstory...I've just never taken the time to watch the whole thing (I think I asw the shrimpy stuff and didn't realkly give a shit one way or another if I proceeded....but it is how I expected it to be.

Mike AI 07-07-2003 11:03 PM

Sykk, did you at least laugh?

The best part about the agent 69 flash is that is is funny in 2 ways. The direct obvious way, the scripting and execution was wonderful. BUT there is the ironic funny part, knowing all the players and the behind the scenes story.... It is wonderful!!

Cheers me up like nothing else! I think they would call it a Pyric Victory....

Yup, I laughed
but probably not about what I was supposed to be laughing about ;-)

I was laughing about the "story" behind it moreso than the story in the actual flash ;-)

Yep, almost fully recovered :)

I had a great gambling day on the last day.. I worked my way out of a big hole I created on the first night!!

It was a fun trip.. looking forward to the next one! :)

Mike AI 07-07-2003 11:23 PM

KC I will not even THINK about Vegas until winter.... I was WORN OUT!!

The last day I got killed at the tables.... overall ended up about 1k down, which is not to bad I guess....

Great spending time with you as always.... make sure p0rn0man does not put GHB into anyone elses drinks!!

:D

*KK* 07-07-2003 11:33 PM

Hey Michael, where is the original PHB flash? someone asked me the other day and I couldn't find it --

Mike AI 07-07-2003 11:46 PM

KK I am sure its around somewhere. I bet Shrimpy, errr Sharky has it....

I am on dialup since the DSL in NO decided to go out when I got home.... so I am about to go to sleep. Nothing worse then fucking dialup!!

Enjoy. :)

Opti 07-08-2003 03:09 AM

Are you not thankful that FM has made you into everything you are now Mike???? ;-))

One thing you can tell r-n that you taught him was how to market his ball with flash :P

I saw him post the agent69 cartoon in a thread on Jim&GG board last month.. in the same thread he was abusing an old time freesiter named Boogie. Was telling everyone how he picked Boogie up when he was nothing and made him everything he is today! :D hehehehehe.. I think Freud might think this theme of r-n's means something? >:P

Does the guy not even realise how pathetic that agent69 clip makes him look personally???

Luke must be trawling for info.. he can't really not know who the people are can he!!!!

slavdogg 07-08-2003 03:13 AM

Boogie? Woah happened to him ?

Opti 07-08-2003 03:15 AM

Yeah Slav! Can you believe FM would get up him.. one of his biggest supporters!

SykkBoy 07-08-2003 03:16 AM

I remember Boogie had a console-free webring, there was some pretty damn good traffic available in that thing...Boogie's Console Free Zone...

Didn't Boogie have some health problems as well?

Opti 07-08-2003 03:18 AM

he's doing well now!

http://cfporn.com/

sharky 07-08-2003 07:49 AM

Yeah KC.. It's pretty amazing that he really does believe it all!

I remember him saying at one point in time that he gave the project tot he designers and had them do it based on their recolection(sp?-) of the events.... Do you honestly believe that?

BTW - did you know that "I'm and Internet Guru!"

:-)

I must say.. I have this saved to my hard drive.. I love it! They did a great job and it's very entertaining!

Brad - do you remember our private conversations at dinner that night?

:-)

sharky 07-08-2003 07:53 AM

http://www.aaaadultdesign.com/clients/play...yer_hater_ball/

This is the old version we have:-))

Mike AI 07-08-2003 10:47 AM

"I'm an internet Guru"

Has to be my favorite line.....

I remember Boogie... a good guy. Glad to see he is still around!!!

Boogie 07-08-2003 12:51 PM

Its good to be remembered :)

Yeah, I've been running and maintaining cfporn.com which is basically the 2003 version of "The Console Free Zone".

Mostly just making money off google these days my traffic is almost all SE. The list still sends a suprising amount of traffic for its current volume :P

As for problems with FM, those are all cleared up. I said something the wrong way, he took it the wrong way, and things got nasty. Sounds just like back in '97 right? Same deal, you know how it goes. I still got love for FM.

As for that whole Playa's Ball situation, loved it. HIlarious stuff on both ends. Was the first time I ever remember all that piss being used for the side of good.

Anyways, hi to you folks. A lot of names on this board and a lot of names on this thread I remember very amiably and I wouldnt want to list names out of fear of missing someone. You are all great folks.

I dont post much on boards these days, mostly read. I read all of em so I know whats going on and I post over there at greenguy and jim with my friends so... You should stop by sometime, its a good place.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, the last place I expected to hear people talk about me in a positive light is here on oprano! When I first posted on condom back in 2001 before my father passed, serge went right for the balls :P

Anyways, glad to be remembered!

Oh... and yeah I see someone mentioned my health. Yeah, a real bugger that. When I went into the hospital with these legs I dealt with 6 months of outpatient care to heal them, then into 24 hours a day, everyday, lifetime compression therapy to keep things working right. Painful, annoying, makes me crazy. Dealt with a bit of depression about that for a few years, so if you're wondering where I went that basically explains it. Got tired of the real world, lived off my sites and my savings and stuck my head in everquest.com where this whole health problem didnt exist. Back out of that shit now tho. its life, right, ya deal with what it gives ya. No excuse to stop making money. Its a struggle, I still get sick pretty often, but hey that's life! :bdance:

Heya Boogie, gret to see you around and great to hear about your improved health!
