There are few things that annoy me more than the assinine :headwall: trend the last deacade or so to not celkebrate holidays on the day of the holiday just because it falls on a weekday!! happens routinely with holidays like Halloween and the 4th of July!! Pisses me off to no end!!

It's funny I have the exact opposite... I can't stand it when business has to come to a grinding halt just because it happens to be a holiday....

I think most holidays were invented by lazy employees as an excuse to wiggle out of work... especially all the religious holidays that give a day off to atheists.

I am trying to get my program up and ready for public consumption, and my guys only worked 3 days last week.

1 day everyone went home due to the Tropical Storm that came through NO.... and then the 4th of July.

Normally I am all about holidays, but when you are behind on a project its frustrating.

OF course when you own the business, there is never vacation days....

It's a pain in the ass isn't it? It's especially annoying when you employ people in multiple countries, you never know when the holidays are and everyone assumes that you know... they simply don't show up for work and you have to call someone at home to figure out why nobody is taking calls at the office... :headwall:

Spring is the worst, what gets me about these religious holidays is that otherwise satanic heavy metal listening porn lovers who despise anything religious feel it's their birthright not to work on days like good Friday etc. while they don't even know what the holiday is about in the first place.
