Awesome film.
Bravely bold Sir Robin rode forth from Camelot. He was not afraid to die, O brave Sir Robin. He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways, Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin! He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp, Or to have his eyes gouged out and his elbows broken, To have his kneecaps split and his body burned away And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir Robin! His head smashed in and his heart cut out And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged And his nostrils raped and his bottom burned off And his pen-- Brave Sir Robin ran away, Bravely ran away, away. When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled. Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about And gallantly, he chickened out. Bravely taking to his feet, He beat a very brave retreat, Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin. He is packing it in and packing it up And sneaking away and buggering up And chickening out and pissing off home, Yes, bravely he is throwing in the sponge. :biglaugh: |
Monty Python rock :)
John Cleese did this eulogy at the funeral service for Graham Chapman... ""I was Graham's friend.I'd like to say that he was a generous, kind and charitable man.But I can't.He was a total bastard" Now thats humour! :) A church load of mourners pissing themselves laughing. |
I loooooooove Monty Python! :inlove:
One rainy Sunday afternoon when I was 18, a bunch of us were sitting around a friends flat, drinking but bored out of our brains. My best friend decided to entertain us by performing Holy Grail...the whole thing...beginning to end. He played all the parts, did all the voices, all the sound effects, and ran all over the living room up and down and over the couches to create the roles. Took over 2 hours and was hysterical. We laughed so much we hurt! :agrin: I introduced my kids to Monty Python a couple of summers ago. I decided Life of Brian would be an excellent balance to their catholic education. :awinky: I'm going to hold off on showing them Meaning of Life for a while yet tho... :yowsa: |

We still bring that movie up every so often when we all get together and get a good laugh out of it!! :okthumb: |
Heheh Matt. My kids are just 13, 11 and 9. The 13 yr old is a girl who tends to be on the conservative side (not sure where she gets that from). The 11 yr old is a ratbag boy who would take GREAT delight in singing 'every sperm is sacred' at top note...so I think it better that he not see that movie just yet...
The 9 yr old is too busy being a superstar athlete (or at least he's trying to be) to have time to sit still and watch a movie. :) |
love it! That or Life of Brian is on somewhere in the tv schdule over here atleast once a month

Isn't it awfully nice to have a penis?
Isn't it frightfully good to have a dong? It's swell to have a stiffy It's devine to own a dick From the tiniest little tadger To the world's biggest prick So three cheers for your willy or John Thomas Hoorah for your one-eyed trouser snake Your piece of pork, your wifes best friend Your persy or you cock You can wrap it up in ribbons You can slip it in your sock But don't take it out in public Or they'll stick you in the dock And you won't-a-come-a-back! |
