Remember a couple of parties where folks would drop a hit, nothing happened for 15 minutes, so they would drop another and then another, etc.... give em an hour or so and they were gone...

Thus we started telling folks when they just went for one... "take two, they're small"

Had a couple of times where I encountered excellent quality stuff... made the other shit seem so mild...lol.....

What's really funny is that there was a group of us, maybe a dozen who did acid in high school. Every single one of us, except two (one is dead the other a housewife) went on to become professionals and get degrees. Doctors, lawyers, CPA's, consultants, Artist, Writers- really smart successful people. We didn't drink a lot because we were too busy tripping.

I think there's something to it all.

acid in school was fun, but i wouldn't ever touch it again

last time i was 17, i ended up walking for miles on a beach late at night and getting lost and going into a total freakout until a friend who had been following caught up with me and lead me home.

I'm too old for that kind of mind-alteration anymore, but even when I was young I preferred barbiturates to hallucinogens. I'd never do acid again.

Now Ecstasy (the REAL stuff we used to get in the early 90s), I might do that again if chance and circumstance aligned properly and I was in the mood... but I'm one of those responsible recreational drug users who doesn't fall into the trap of thinking if one gets me feeling good, more will make me feel better.
