Clooney, Cher, Moore, Baldwin, Sheen, and the rest of the "artists" calling president and administration "stupid, morons"
NEVER finished colleges... Bush - Yale Condolesa Rice - more degrees than I can shake my dick off Cheyny - Master Degree in Political Science why are the ignoramuses always ahead of the "education hunt"? |
Serge must have watched Fox news!
This is the point that Buff was making.... Don't you know Serge, Bush only got into Yale and Harvard because of his daddy!! HAHAHAHA |

;-) ...which still doesn't change the fact of it ;-))) |
I was watching same thing....
Stuck at home with Strep Throat! :( Luckily we have some great TV on! |
Mike,
Ouch! I have had that before, it sucks, hope you feel better soon. Serge, some of those names you mentioned might not have a college education, but that doesn't mean there stupid.. Jimmy Carter graduated from a great school, the Naval Academy. He was also a Cpt. of a Nuc. Sub I belive. Rice, indeed she is very smart, mabey more to the Right then I like, but I can't call her stupid :) |
I love Condalezza Rice, I got a chance to see her give a seminar once - back when she was still a professor. She is awesome. I would have married her, but instead Katie got suck with me!
Todd, I got a shot from the Dr. and some drugs, hopefully will be back in the game soon!! |
sore throat???
you licked something you were not sup[posed to, I guess ;-)) |
Mike,
glad to hear you got your shots :) When I had that I was like 21 I think, and down for 10-14 days or so, it was bad man, LOL Hey Rice sure is a looker, Smart and Pretty, hard to find a good combo like that alot. Sure beats playing with yourself to Janet Reno :)) I love her, but not those looks :))))) |
|
Serge that pretty much sums it up....
Most of the people out of Hollywood are barely qualified to work at Wal-Mart. |

Note from that snopes page:
"The question posed by the title -- "Who's smarter?" -- isn't so easily answered. Graduating college or holding elected office exposes people to new ideas and concepts and imbues them with practical experience, but those paths don't necessarily make people "smarter," nor is treading those paths necessary for one to become a competent politician or political analyst. Some very highly regarded U.S. presidents had little or no formal education (Abraham Lincoln), did not attend college (Harry Truman), or had no previous experience holding elective office (Dwight Eisenhower), and one (Ronald Reagan) even began his career as a film actor. On the other hand, some very well-educated and intelligent men with experience in governmental administration who served as chief executive of the U.S. (Herbert Hoover, Jimmy Carter) frequently show up on rosters of "worst U.S. presidents." " Everything is relative. Alex |
Alex... you are simply not allowed to be right!

EC, Alex,
too bad you are Canadiens, the citizens of the country which doesn't matter or mattered at any time in the history of the world. You will never understand the world politics, your own government can't get it, I won't expect it from you 2... |

Condoleeza Rice = Genius
Martin Sheen = Not Canadians = America's friends. December 7, 1941. Japan attacked United States December 8, 1941. Canada declared war on Japan. December 8, 1941. Britain declared war on Japan. December 8, 1941. Australia declared war on Japan. |
Canadians = America's friends.
************************************ Bullshit! |
I cringe pretty much everytime Bush speaks because he is just so abrasive... but i definately agree that Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld, Tommy Franks, Ari Fleischer and most of the rest of his gang are definately bright and competent people to be dealing with the situation they are dealing with. Those guys all are excellent under fire in tough interviews and White House Press Conferrences or "White House Media Ambushes" as i call them. really amazing.

Colin, there is a good russian expression:

its cryptic babble that doesn't come close to backing up your statement. you are happy to constantly point out how many times america has saved the world this century, why are the canadians who died in the past less important now because they haven't sent troops this time? don't worry about it though gigi, because even if you did send troops who came home in body bags every single time america starts a war, you'd still get shit on when you need something!! :okthumb: |
cj,
Come on.Get with the program!!! In order to be friends with Serge and therefore the US (you do KNOW he represents all of the US) You must agree with him/them 100% The point of friends Serge is to disagree. Canada disagrees. They are still the US's friend. |
sorry ;-(
I hope australia never says no or they will turn us into a nuclear testing site you better be careful!! once they are done with iraq they might finish off canada too just for sport ... fall to you knees and pray for your life!!! :wnw: |
Naw they'll get Syria next.
but they could invade Canada....... The UN would object of course.Suggest that peaceful means are explored fully instead of use of arms.If only to make military action legitimate. And probably 75% of the countries in the world would disagree with the use of arms. But whose gonna stop them? ;) |
Well unlike Serge, I like people who disagree with me.... I love debating. :D
As far as countries Australia is with us in this war, and I think will be there for the coninuation of the war against terrorism. Canada, well its Canada.... its like having to put up with your dorky little brother. He is family, and sometimes does the right thing - but most of the time is a big goof ball.... I imagine pat of the problem with Canada is the French influence from Quebec... |
Mike,
The US is in a minority globally in believing war was the correct action. So in your family analogy, the US is the goofy brother getting into trouble , much to the family's disapproval ;) |

Canada sent troops to Afghanistan, Kosovo, Korea, and VietNam too. If sending troops to nearly every conflict we have been involved in is not the mark of a true ally, we don't have any.
If we Americans have any doubt who our BIGGEST allies in the world are it's the UK and Australia. Against popular world opinion, they sent their troops to battle and to die for a cause we championed. A difficult cause. The same way us Americans feel about our troops in battle, they do too. Fuck, we in America should all be wearing Australian and British pins right now. Most of the leaders of countries that signed onto the coalition of the willing did so against the popular opinion of their nations. Those are acts of extreme leadership and bravery. It may mean political suicide for some of them. Over fifty did so anyway. I don't think there's a "problem with Canada". They have been there with the US over and over. They were there on D-Day, they were there in Vietnam, and they were there in Kosovo. Besides, we owe them for the insult of 1812. <_< If we truly value and champion the principles of democracy, we should accept and respect the decisions of those that reach different conclusions than us.
