yeah I run a couple mainstream sites. They don't make me rich but they are something to show people who want to know what I do for a living and they make enough to pay the xmas bills. So, I'm happy.

I'm working with someone on a mainstream pay per signup program now that can only be put on 100% mainstream sites (no adult at all), so we'll see how many people are doing mainstream :blink:

We're also putting together a mainstream program for adult sites, but that will be coming later :)

I always get excited when I see other people's success in mainstream. It is a tough nut to crack. I have invested in numerous mainstream businesses, some online others brick and morter. So far my batting average is about .250 or so... but it only takes one swing to hit a grand slam.

Of course for me, my grandslam is InterCosmos which own DirectNIC, and our new hosting company Zipa. Of course the reality is, I just got on base, and Sig carried the big bat to launch us into the big leagues....

I have been trying to work on finding, and fixing up classic cars then selling/leasing them. So far it has not been that successful.... lots of issues keep popping up. I was hoping to at least break even and help cover the costs of my personal vehicles.

One thing I continue to put money into, and look for deals is real estate... one day in the future I may turn my property in NO into a subdivision. The city keeps expanding out, and the area I am in is starting to get hot with development. Of course this will not be for years....

Well for me we will have our first bbq restaurant open in the next month.

As far as mainstream goes I've been doing some things with ebay but so far the results haven't been that great. My neighbor makes his living selling clocks on ebay (yes, I said clocks) so he's been helping me quite a bit.

I have done a few mainstream sites and get a few calls for maintenance. Biggest involvement was getting friends to go online for a casting company. Biggest part of the job ($50,000) went to a friend who gave me a good referral fee and some design work at www.1iotaproductions.com

have tried to pick up some work from www.craigslist.org but most companies are scared by the adult portfolio... oh well...

am always looking for more ideas...

Rough couple weeks CJ
my grandmother passed away a couple weeks ago, then my cousin was shot during a robbery while at work....

I've also been busy with some new stuff
