Girl Scout Cookies
It's not as if I'm taking away the joy of some young girl in her green uniform having to a) FIND my house b ) risk breaking a leg walking down the hill c) realize I don't have a doorbell d) knock and have heart attack #1 when she sees me at the door (it's all glass and I tend to hang around not looking very..wel..glamorous) e) deal with the dogs jumping all over her (they REALLY like people. A lot. Maybe too much) f) have heart attack #2 walking BACK up the hill. So why can't I order them online? Last year I was dating a guy whose niece/sister/cousin/something female was selling them. He made fun of me for ordering so many (some were sent to the kid in college - I SWEAR!). I'm not calling him. Any ideas how I can get my yearly fix of Thin Mints and DoSiDos??!! Yeh well I've already decided hell won't be nearly so bad since half of Oprano will be there too. :P
And I'm not teasing...if you click the link you can order them online! Or you can wait till Internext in August...I'm bringing a carton with me this time. :awinky: |

Is it just women that crave chocoate and sugar like this? I've yet to meet a man that's the same way. Except ice cream - I always seem to end up with guys that like ice cream, lol! Maybe I should start dating the ones over 12? :groucho: |

I'll probably just waddle up to Walmart and there, next to the folks with the box of free puppies or kittens, will be someone selling GS cookies. I just think the suckers should be sold online - especially to folks like me that can send them notarized statements that no GS is ever going to come to my house :headwall: |
You know what is even more fucked up? You can buy The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again (old disney movie with Tim Conway and Don Knotts) but you can only get the first Apple Dumpling Gang movie on VHS. To top it off TADGRA (that's short for The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again) is only available in mono fullscreen. No stereo or widescreen available. Cheap bastards!

3.15 for two cookies??? Eeek...I went on there out of curiosity and thought, well, I HATE dark chocolate, my dad LOVES dark chocolate...perfect! (since I keep telling myself that chocolate is never going to be pass my lips again, I buy him all his goodies in dark chocolate).
Am I reading that site wrong? Do they cost that much down there or is that a whole package of cookies? I've never tried a Tim Tam, but you're all going so wild over them..it's getting tempting. Really all that stuff should come with tape so you can just paste them on your hips. :D Oh, and Peaches..you'd never be able to scare anyone answering the door. You're so darned cute that even not dolled-up, you still must be a doll :P Zee....have you talked to your shrink about these movie choices? :P |
because it would get in the way of the leaders pressuring the kids to nag their parents to take the cookies into work to sell.
