here i will quote one of my favorite writers. 'I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church. All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit.' when i say cant get enough i am serious.
ive even read shit like the Apocrypha multiple times, read the king james bibles more than some church ladies and am d7ing to uncover the vast mounds of words still out there whom I have never heard of. In fact I wish i knew more languages so I could read such works in their native tongue. I bet The Divine Comedy sounds better in italian. |

Did a quick Google look up
EDIT: quoted wrong page.... will change shortly. Do you know of any dark Russian writers, maybe from the Stalin period or things set to the colder times, but possibly horror or adventure, nothing about war or camps. I am speaking of literature, not History. Last edited by Fletch XXX at Nov 26 2003, 11:46 AM |
