It's been awhile but yeah, we had people alloted to go, had banners made to fly on Netpond, among other things. Bishop was busy in the backround contacting people about taking part in the first big sponsored webmaster gathering in Europe.

At that time, no one was touching out there, and we had the market. Pity it didn't go through. It was definately a black eye for us since it was killed by outside interests with a few phone calls.

It made Netpond's Detractor's happy for sure.

But it all goes back to what I said earlier. Good ideas that make money don't come around often. Even the rehashed ones.

Who knows, the show could have been a flop, or it could have been the Internext of Europe.

I remember that right at that time also Netpond changed hands Baby and I can remember something with FM and JoeE but am not sure if that has to do with that discussed show.

but in 2000 I did have a few other problems with my business so it is very possible I pulled out because of pressure.

for sure I did not drop out because FM or JoeE made threats.

I'm glad it is 2005 now and the past is the past what Can I do ? Future has much nice oppurtunities ahead of us and looking back is only good for learning to avoid the mistakes we already made..
