I thought they merely threw some webmasters out of there program.

I knew nothing of them keeping recurs.

They kept those recurrings and decided not to pay the people that sent them. Think of the goldmine...get 1000's of people to send you recurring joins and just decide to not pay them...

And oh yea...they kept billing those customers. This wasn't a program that just closed up shop. They got a handful of people to fuck over other webmasters, and offered others a bone (eg send X amount of sales to our non converting creatives and we'll pay you your recurrings - hllarious) You should take a look at the avs side of things sometimes.
