Just found out this morning that my arm was cleared. All I have left is job counselling which I will be doing on Friday. It's funny, my mom is more excited than I am. I think she just wants me out of the house. :P

1) My Dad was in the AF
2) AF has more technical jobs which is what he's interested in
3) Most importantly, the chances of him ever seeing combat in the AF (he's too blind to ever fly) are basically nil, whereas the Army combat chances are much higher and he wants to make sure his mother doesn't worry 24/7. :okthumb:

He may actually still be here during this summer - apparently they are WAY over recruitment levels and it's taking months to ship out. It all depends on what job he gets.

And don't forget, he gets 30 days vacation a year - I'm sure he'd love to spend all of it here working for you. :)
