For those who are interested... Setgo was sold about a week ago. At the time of the sale the company that acquired Setgo went unnamed. AEBN was the company that aquired it. AEBN has as of this morning exercised its option to terminate the contract. The fit wasn't right.

The new site that I had intended on placing on Setgo is for the most part complete. We are considering launching the site on another domain as the work has already been done. If it gets turned on I'll mention it.

I assume this is because Luke Ford is now with GFY?

I have read setgo from time to time when I got a chance. There was some pretty good on articles on there when I visited.

I am sure someone can get the juices flowing and make it a popular resource.

We were having to install it on his servers because the guy he got to do it didn't know PHP or mysql. I said I didn't want my tech on it all day as he has other things to do and Bishop said he would have another programmer contact us Monday and get it finished. Nobody contacted us so I just assumed he couldn't get it done and redirected it to fbucks, and got an angry email from him today scotching the deal (2 year lease) which I'm really not too worried about. It's a shame to just waste all that webmaster traffic but I am absolutely determined to get out from under Setgo and if that means just killing it then that's what I'll do. Given the traffic the site was generating it could have been a valuable asset for anyone with the time to run it and why nobody seemed too interested I don't know. Whatever someone might think about you or me you still don't argue with traffic. Why Bishop felt the need to post about it I don't know but do I really need to be in a business relationship with someone that temperamental? I got over getting angry about dead deals in this biz years ago, too much stress.

I just contracted for 30 new websites for Fetishbucks and that's all I'm really interested in working on right now.

I first ran by a couple of oldtimers, neither of which thought it was worth the money that was being asked... between the two people I sought advise from, I came up with the idea that it was worth between somewhere less than a dime and 5 grand...

Since I had no idea of what you were being offered , I decided to take a wait and see approach, next thing I know you are announcing that it's sold...

and then I hear it's a lease deal, not a sale.....

Even then, with the sale falling through today, I might have made an offer, but then I find out that Luke is gone... and really, Luke is the only real draw at setgo... Nobody working the board... Nothing to make it interesting, except for Luke.... So, at this point, there is no longer any interest....

as far as everyone gaga over luke....I don't know why webmasters would think luke was a good idea... I certainly do not think Luke is a good front man for a webmaster resource site... If I had gone after it, it would have been to turn it into a surfer site.... market dvds, pornstar sites, posters, toys, all sorts of porn industry related consumer goods.... I am quite positive that Luke has a much stronger appeal among the "porn fans" then among adult webmasters.... I, for one, was very interested in who bought it... When I was considering an offer, I was trying to find out who was involved in offers on it, so naturally when it sold, I wanted to know two things...1. who bought it and 2. how much did they pay...
