I think the idea of Boycotting France was more of a joke than anything to take serious.

But, for example, to bring up Kyoto.... a simple attempt to destroy America’s economy, while at the same time giving a free pass to other countries challenging us in the global market??

The fact is that it does not matter what the US does. The US will always be a target of other countries as long as it is number one. It would be no different for Holland if it was number one.

It is hard to be at the top because everybody is gunning for you or would otherwise like to see you set back a few notches.

OK Well I am one who was serious about boycotting France and French Products.

The French are purposely interfering with our foreign policy, and our national interest. They are doing it because of their economic connections with Iraq, They see themselves as the "counterbalance to US power", and Chirac wants to hide his true relationship with Saddam ( he has been helping supporting Iraq, includingselling nuclear plant that Israeli destroyed in the 80s)

The French are stupid, the only place they have any power is in the UN, this is the only palce they can protest and hold back US power - yet they will end up destablizing the UN, and maknig it the "worthelss debating society" when the US acts on their own. So they are hurting their own ability to "counter balance" the US.

Same with NATO, I see NATO expanding to Eastern European countries and booting out France.... the French will end up isolated, and way behind.... The french have been on the wrong side of history for almost 250 years now....
