Billy,
few suggestions:

1) Liberaci mansion was a better acoustics, more rooms, less loud

2) we gotta give piano guys the "hints" in advance

3) ordering catering was a total waste, who can eat at 11 pm???
;-)))

Billy 01-10-2003 12:45 PM

I agree with you on the Liberaci mansion it was broken up more !

We had just as much food this year as last year but more food and less deserts, I saw a bunch of people eating, so maybe just some snacks : )

Winetalk.com 01-10-2003 12:46 PM

yeah, the finger food is it!
;-)))

food, food, food...I am AFFRAID to get anywhere near the scale
;-)))

sharky 01-10-2003 12:53 PM

I agree on all 3 accounts Serge.

I got more biz donme at PHB2, however I lost my voice because I had to scream to talk to anyone. lol. Liberace mansion was nice because I could go sit down on a couch in another room and talk biz.

Dueling Pianos were great, b ut the acoustics made it seem too loud. I heard a few people mention it was the same songs as last year, which got old quick.

I think having waitresses come take drink orders would be good. While in the middle of a conversation I don't want to get up for a drink, but I certainly need one!!

I had a blast! Talked with a lot of old friends, and made several new ones!

:-)

How come the tickets say "no cameras" yet everyone and their brother brings one? Just curious, a few people asked me and I did not know.

Nice pics Billy!!

That's what I figured, a cruel joke on blondes. ;)

Almighty Colin 01-10-2003 01:13 PM

Adult webmasters are known to revert to underhanded schemes such as camera smuggling. Basically, it's done the same way your mom smuggled candy into the movie when you were a kid. Big purses.

'Tis why I've never taken a camera to PHB

Next thing you know, Peaches - you'll be taking me to outlet stores ;-)

sextoyking 01-10-2003 01:47 PM

Peaches,

I missed you to :D

Mary just came back home, and it really wasn't the right time for me to leave..

I sure wanted to see everyone, oh shucks next time will rock :)

Mike AI 01-10-2003 02:40 PM

Yeah Liberaces place was better, we need more room - so people can move around.

The food was good, I did not eat any since I went to dinner right before, but I saw a LOT of people chowing down...

Hell T-Bone had like 4 plates worth!

Overall it was a great party - as I keep telling everyone, it is the PEOPLE who make the party, not the location, band, or food.... though they can help!

:rokk:

LA Mike 01-10-2003 03:21 PM

Those piano guys are awesome.
Glad I went again this year. Good seing everyone :)

:

There was a lot of Great people at the party. a whole lot of "money" was represented.. and a lot of biz was done. I myself stand to make at least 6 figures from the deals discussed at the show!

Mike AI 01-10-2003 03:35 PM

LA Mike, glad to see you at the party! Of course next time, you guys have to pick my name for the Bike!! :D

It is the people who make the party....

LA Mike 01-10-2003 03:46 PM

MikeAI... Did you signup to win it?

Someone actually stole all the entry tickets. So we had to do an electronic drawing. Luckily when everyone signed up they filled in a survey so we were able to have everyones names.

So I just figure next year we can do it electronically from the get go and it will be easier to rig it for you to win :)

Mike

BootyBoy 01-10-2003 05:01 PM

Nice pics! I'll be posting some pics of the PHB II as well. Thanks again for such a wonderful time. :rokk:

Mike AI 01-10-2003 05:27 PM

LA Mike, I actually did sign up for it.

I do not even know how to ride a bike..... but it was beautiful.

LA Mike 01-10-2003 08:04 PM

Mike AI... I grew up riding street bikes and never cared for Harleys much. But that bike was kinda cool looking. The motor was made by Porsche.

More of car guy myself

:barfon: The barfon icon.. This is awesome.. hahahahah

originalheather 01-11-2003 10:46 AM

Thanks, Billy, for managing to take pics of me in the worst possible positions :grrr:

It was a lot of fun though..no one's mentioned KK's song..Queen of the Ho's, hehe. We won't talk about mine, Tonda!!! hehe

Oh, AI, NO sounds like fun, even if I'm not invited, lol

Mike AI 01-11-2003 11:57 AM

Heather, we will make sure you have an invite for the Oprano Crawfish Boil we are planning....

You can stay in same room with Serge and LL!

Heather, it ain't a room, it's more like an apartment
;-)))

I have only ONE favor to ask...
PLEASE don't bring me second cup of coffee in the morning

MikeAI: Are you trying to KILL your partner?? His headstone would read:

He hated sports....but died running nonetheless"....

originalheather 01-11-2003 02:33 PM

I have to agree with LL...Serge wouldn't live through it,

I don't drink coffee, Serge, nor do I serve it, hehe, so you're safe. I think that LL can kill you all by herself anyway. We older women are generally fatal to old guys like you :nyanya:

That's why I stick to the 30 somethings :D

Heather, if she could kill me, she'd do that by now,
I trust her good will towards me and I know she'd revive me when I have a heart attack...between your butts
;-)))

originalheather 01-11-2003 04:01 PM

I'm not usually into that butt stuff, Serge, but I'm sure I wouldn't notice the bee sting lol

Heather, "bee sting" was never my strong feature
(c'mon, everybody know I have no dick, ask MikeAI ;-)
it's my big tongue which reaches places
;-)))

Mike AI 01-11-2003 04:09 PM

Oh NO Heather, now Serge is going to post more photos of his "Stinger"!!

AHAHAHA

Mike,
I am awaiting with fear the pic of "the stinger" BillPMB took at Ken's bedroom during the party in his suite...
;-)))
vodka was COLD, it REALLY shrung!
;-)))

Peaches 01-11-2003 04:18 PM

Are there any pictures like last year from the photographer there? I left a little early (like I did the entire trip - damn cold!) and didn't see them out on a table like last year. I need something for my picture frame! :bjump:

Though I guess I could wait and print up the picture of "...of "the stinger" BillPMB took at Ken's bedroom during the party in his suite..."
:groucho:

Billy 01-11-2003 04:25 PM

Peaches don't worry I have the film and we will be getting out the pictures to the winners this week so they can have the perfect picture for the frame !

I cannot wait to start planning PHB III I have been getting a lot of input, seems people don't want to wait till January for another party !!!

originalheather 01-11-2003 04:47 PM

Yeah...Billy...make it a semi-annual event! Maybe I'll be able to help sponsor it sometime soon..oh, Kennnnnnn! :D

*KK* 01-11-2003 05:01 PM

I liked the venue last year for the fact that it was all spread out -- tho the crowd was definitely better this year ;)

I'm back home, just picked up my dogs from boarding and am fighting to stay awake... a week in Vegas is a killer... tho I wouldn't have missed Magicks bachelorette party and wedding for the world, we had such a blast... the Venetian had apparently never seen a few chicks wandering around in oversized t-shirts and no shoes in their lobby before ;)

originalheather 01-11-2003 05:03 PM

Cmon...tell em what the old man said to you guys. LOL

No one contacted Serge and I. We have been talking about doing "entertainment" for Bachlorette parties...

Of course only Serge is read to deliver "Happy Endings" :zoinks: :yowsa: :D

*KK* 01-11-2003 05:18 PM

This old guy was yelling -- "I've been coming to Vegas since 76 and I've NEVER seen anything like this!!" -- and it was a near riot in the lobby, with security screaming at the desk to get us a new key ;)

As for the rest of it, well, what happens in Aly's room stays in Aly's room ;)

We will be having a secret reunion in Miami if you guys want to stake out the lobby to see what we get up to then...
