Gonzo, Trev, Nick, Morgan, Red - thanks for making me feel welcome. :)
Morgan - it's nice seeing you here. Actually I always like knowing you're around for the same reason. :waving: You don't want to know how much I edited that before posting it. I couldn't log in for a couple of days so it festered on my notepad. Amazing how some things grow when you water them with frustration. Thanks again everyone. I'll definitely stop by more often. Simon |

If I may wax philosophical for a moment, when one looks at the sum total of one's life and tries to determine one's "wealth," many things beat out money for a position on the list. Family, friends, health...and someone saying something like that. You've made me feel wealthy, Simon, and for that I thank you. :) |
Re: aeon you are banned
Ok... So apparently I missed something the last few days.
Whatever it was ( And I'm assuming it has something to do with greenguys terrible loss) I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and say that It was probably totally out of line. Anything Negative said to a person who is in a state of personal emotional turmoil is way below the belt and should be dealt with quickly and firmly. I see that everone has already done that. Again without knowing the specifics, On the Topic of Free speech I've always been of the belief that free speech is important but that one must also think before they speak. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD. |

Re: aeon you are banned
I couldn't even read all of that... Now that I am informed... Aeon is definitely a cunt.
I feel terrible for greenguy although we've never met or spoken before. I was dating a girl for years when she lost her father the same way. I know what it is like to lose a family member the way he did and my heart goes out to him and his family. I am fully on the ban Aeon bandwagon, and no comment like that should go unpunished. ( to put it politely ) |

Re: aeon you are banned
Ok, maybe people are confused in their posts. Maybe not. Maybe I am the only one confused here.
Who is now putting who down and why? This thread seems to have gotten very mixed up with the Gonzo, Peaches, Cory stuff, at least in my mind. So can we clear up any miscommunications that may be going on here? Or if it's just me ... maybe explain to me what's what? I'd hate for people to start slamming each of other for no reason. The Aeon's of the world would love that. We wouldn't. |

Cory,
I don't think I've ever properly apoligised to you on my actions almost a year ago. You have become someone that I admire in our industry, and being a down to earth individual. Please accept my sincerest apologies, I was an asshole that day, and attacked you on this board. I want to one day consider you a true friend, and I hope we can put this behind us. |

Holy shit. Just deciphered what happened, had to track it down on GG's board.
What a piece of living offal - thumbs up on the banning. If anyone's near Aeon, picking him up and dropping him off in the superdome in new orleans would be welcome right about now. |

In fact let's drop him and all the other keyboard warriors into the middle of the Superdome!! Let's see how these loud mouth bastards fair in a real life and death situation as opposed to their usual pixel deluted fantasy world!!! http://oprano.com/msgboard/images/smilies/storm.gif |
Re: aeon you are banned
This thread has gone beyond what it was meant to do.
I thought of closing it, then thought again. I think it's serving it's purpose and more. |

But..."boiling"? Crediblity doth not stretch quite that far. :p |
Re: aeon you are banned
Earl Grey is a nice tea for mid morning or early afternoon, its not that Liptons shit either .. We export that crap to other countries and dont drink it ourselves. To get you going pg tips or tetley is a nice wake up tea.

Re: aeon you are banned
I bought some tea in Seattle that is the bomb - it's a black tea with some orange and tons of spices in it. It's one of the few teas I don't have to load up with sugar to enjoy :)

Re: aeon you are banned
I drink tea so rarely anymore. Did for a while. Got into the Darjeeling and Asian Green somewhat. I do love the "English and Irish Breakfast Teas" -- but before you say anything, I already know there is no such thing over there. That doesn't mean they don't have a nice taste to them though.
Peaches, can't recall the name, but I've had something similiar once. Was delish. Hadn't been able to find any since. Normally, as said, Tetley is the brand of choice for "usual". Though usual is unusual these days. Think the last time I had a cup of tea was last winter when I had the flu. Funny how tastes change. |
