On July 30, 2001 the .GOD Registry was advised that someone in the United
Kingdom was bulk emailing addresses harvested from newsgroups and web
sites as part of a marketing effort to sell second level domains in the .GOD,
.SEX and .SCOT top level domain infrastructure.

The .GOD Registry has received a number of complaints and wishes to
advise the public that it has no affiliation with the parties responsible for
this spam. Nor are we the registry operators for .SEX or .SCOT as claimed by
the operators of the web sites www.dotgod.com, www.dotsex.com, or
www.dotscot.com.

These attempts to sell domains in the .GOD namespace is an infringement of
our intellectual property rights. The .GOD top level domain is registered with
the Canadian Intellectual Property Office an agency of the Government of
Canada. The registered owner is the Peterborough Mission a chartered
church of the Assembly, Church of the Universe, a non denominational
congregation in Cambridge, Canada.

The individuals responsible conduct business in the United Kingdom under
the corporate names TBS Industries Ltd. (TBS), DNS Networks (DNSN) and
TLD Networks Ltd. (TLDN).

TBS Industries Ltd. incorporated in the United Kingdom is operated by
Edward Harris Goolnik (Date of Birth July 27, 1938) and Thomas Goolnik his
son (Date of Birth June 6 1975). The offices of the firm are housed at 20
Denewood Road, Highgate, London N6 4AJ (Tel: +44 20 8348 4454). Our
investigations have been unable to discover the corporate jurisdiction of TLD
Networks Ltd. or DNS Networks.

The web site at www.dotgod.com was operated by TLDN but recently
changed its corporate identification to DNSN this August 20. It claims to be a
.GOD Registrar and that "TLD Networks is the exclusive global provider of web
addresses that end in .god, providing and enabling powerful web identities
that target adult audiences". The dot.GOD Registry, Limited has never
authorized nor provided either company with exclusive rights to the .GOD top
level domain. The claims made by TLDN, DNSN and TBS are fraudulent.

Registration of .GOD domains is not restricted to adult audiences. Anyone
may register a .GOD domain with the registry. The .GOD Registry has been in
existence since 1996 and operates in the expanded top level domain
namespace outside the existing United States Government root zone. .GOD
domains resolve and we have an active community of 8,000 registered
domains to 1,100 domain owners worldwide.

The web sites operated by TBS, DNSN and TLDN use the corporate
trademarks of Verisign, Inc. a leading domain name registry in the United
States as part of it's marketing efforts.

We contacted Stacey Rabbino an intellectual property lawyer with Verisign.
Ms. Rabbino has confirmed that Verisign Inc. has no affiliation with TLD
Networks. Verisign is also investigating TLDN and considers the use of its
trademarks on the offending web sites to be inappropriate and an
infringement of Verisign's intellectual property rights.

In some cases TBS, TLDN and DNSN have sent spam offering registrations in
both the .GOD and .SEX top level domains. It is our understanding that TBS
and TLDN is not authorized to register .SEX domain names. .SEX is operated
by namespace in New York and the Open Root Server Confederation in
Bannockburn, Ontario Canada. The .GOD Registry has no association
whatsoever with the .SEX registry operators of record. In addition to the
violation of our intellectual property rights in the .GOD top level domain,
the use of .SEX shows a clear pattern of violation and disregard of
intellectual property laws in general.

The individuals responsible for the infringement communicated with the
.GOD Registry on January 7, 2001. The registry was asked if we would
consider selling "GOD Domain names in quantity". We asked that TBS
provide us references and we did not receive a reply.

It is our position that the proprietors of TBS, DNSN and TLDN have
intentionally infringed our intellectual property rights in the .GOD top level
domain. The intentional infringement of copyright is a criminal and civil
offense under the laws of the United Kingdom being the Copyright, Design
and Patents Act 1988 (c. 48).

Our investigation of this infringement has also revealed that TBS and TLDN
have registered numerous domains under fictitious identities. We have
recorded the following fictitious names associated with both companies:

Jerry Harris
Putta Sam Lin
Mr. Smith
Thomas C. Goolnick (alias for Thomas Goolnik)
Tony G. Kent
Simon Fuller

Most of these fictitious identities are associated with one email address
tbsindu@aol.com.

TBS, DNSN and TLDN also use phony telephone numbers as part of their
whois contact details. Our attempts to communicate with TBS and TLDN by
phone have resulted in disconnected telephone numbers. In some cases
private individuals who have no association with these companies answered
the call.

Under the circumstances it is the position of The dot.GOD Registry, Limited
that TBS, DNSN and TLDN have intentionally hidden their real identities in an
effort to defraud the public.

The dot.GOD Registry, Limited is a leader in the development of top level
domain namespace. We have been instrumental in assisting the internet
community in creating top level domains. We have helped commerical
interests, human rights groups (.humanrights) and the aboriginal peoples of
Australia (.arabunna, .kaurna, .kroatundalung, .ngarrindjeri and .wiradjun).

We are a member of the Top Level Domain Association and are active
participants in efforts by the United States Government to transfer control of
the United States namespace infrastructure to the internet community.

Awk! OK, I'm still in the browser stone age, but I can tell you that on the link Serge posted, clicking on the "banner" (for lack of a better word ;)) sends me to 2-3 errors and then shows the new "banner" in the middle of blank screen. Clicking on the "banner" on Colin's link sends me to a 404 error. This is on Netscrape 4.7. This also happens on Explorer 5. Am I doing something wrong (besides not being exactly up the last 2 years of browsers....)?

What I think is innovative is something I've seen from Krister.. he talks about some nifty cloak/stealth type product he's workin with.

Its not so much "visible" as these innovations I keep hearing about here... but it works behind the scenes. It can appear to be anything; TGP, specific niche, CJ, depending on the traffic and user. I can't explain it as well as he can, but the coders are coming up with some awesome tools to control, divert and optimize traffic.
