xtube has a good model. Their new hardware seems to be doing the job. Once you get past the front page the product placement thins out and there's a lot of good content - mostly amateur stuff.
Our model is really entirely different. We don't directly sell product on these sites - it's all referral based. Plus, as mentioned many times, we let all of our affiliates and partners make money on our bandwidth. It's simple - the better they do, the better we do.
Pornotube looks like ass right now. Tags aren't updating properly, some of the user links are snafu'ed, etc. In a week or two the next version rolls out and let me say - it looks awesome. "Come over to the dark side" - hehe...
