That's the law here in BC....we've been burned a couple of times with the cameras at the lights....damn cameras take pics of your vehicle BEFORE it enters the intersection (light is red) and then another when you are in the middle of it....we learned our lesson....well, at least at the lights with cameras :P
I think cameras would be more effective for FL than fines and points...cause if there's a cop around, who's going to chance it?
With covert cameras you'll learn the camera is there the first ticket you get (the pics we got we could clearly see where the pic was taken)...would you run the light at that particular corner again, cop around or not? Me thinks not.
Of course cameras cost $$....
