Confucy, over on another board you and I had arrived at a truce of sorts... I am more than willing to extend that to cover almost anything you post anywhere... But, if I see what I consider an undue attack on someone... Really doesn't matter who, I will jump in the fray....
Back when I was a kid, I was the youngest in my class, but I was also the tallest... Very hrd spot to be in... When you are 4 years old in kindergarten and the biggest kid and the smallest kid is 2 years older, you are in a no-win situation..... and at 4 years old a 6 year old is always bigger than you, no matter what the actual physical size involved is.......If the 6 year old calls you out and you kick his ass, you are a bully because you just beat up the smallest kid...........If he beats you up, you are a wimp because the littlest kid just beat up the biggest kid...like I said "NO WIN"....
because of that indoctrination, I am always aware of "bullys", whether here on the net, or out in the physical world.... I will not stand by and abide a bully beating up someone else just to beat them up...... If someone has asked for it, well then that becomes a personal thing between those two people.... But when it goes to the point of bullying, I will jump in with both feet and put myself between the two and dare them to take a swing at me.....
I don't always win, but I usually get a few good knocks in at least........
(for the record...I have not been in any real physical altercation since I was 13 years old...being the biggest in the class at that age and beyond has certain advantages)
