Sorry to anyone who might have been looking for me for the last while, offline life sort of got in the way. The good news is that there is a nice diamond encrusted ring on my 3rd finger, left hand now. Yup, got married last week and all is good.

More news coming, including some new potential things that come up as a result of a small relocation. Yes Gonzo, what I mentioned to you about 12 months ago is a done deal, the water view is amazing... 4 more weeks and I am there instead of here.

Wow...quite a move. I have a friend who lives in Aberdeen. I was going to move to HK awhile ago now. Had a place all scoped out in mid levels. Quite a few friends there. The landlord wanted 43000k USD up front. We retired to our hotel with 25 flight cases of tv equipment, and booked a flight to Manila where I lived for some time. A lively place with lots of riots, boat people and tons of work opportunities. Always wondered how my life would have changed had I stayed in Hong Kong.

Ahead of the game? Not sure. I have a great view over the water (60 + floors up), the weather is quite reasonable, and the food here is great. Married life is always a challenge for a guy like me (too long single!), but it's all good in the end.

More over, there are some very interesting business ops over here, so I am off learning the language and working on getting into the local culture. So far my fave thing is having 4G LTE on my phone... at < $20 US a month including calls and text msgs as well. Damn!
