Is it ok to start a tube site? A legal one, of course.

I know many here are vehemently against it, but isn't it the popular model to be using now?

Several of us have been messing with Tubes for a while as a legit form of marketing.

There are ways to make money with them but it certainly is not easy.

There are ways to make money with them but it certainly is not easy.Agreed... They're like any undertaking now. You have to be prepared to work on them every day. I'd even say to purchase a good amount of initial feeder traffic as well.

tube traffic is huge volume and, imho, pretty useless.

Selling porn, whether the environment is sex tube free or not, is really a fairly simple concept. You give the server a taste, and provide a link to where they can buy more of the same.

Most will only taste, but some will buy.

That concludes today's lesson.

Not a lot of meat in that particular soup, so you need lots of it.

Lots of it means you need lots of content, lots of updates and a whole lot of bandwidth. There are also so many of them now that unless you have your own feeder traffic to send to it, you need to be prepared to buy some to jump start it.

You CAN make money with them....secret is much the same as it is with TGP's, MGP's, etc.

But you gotta be prepared to work, and if you aren't attentive to it on a daily basis and good with stats and tuning, you may very well find yourself in the red on income versus hosting.
