According to the company, more than 650 issues are accessible, starting with the first one featuring Marilyn Monroe in 1953 to the December 2009 issue with Chelsea Handler.

“This indispensable collector’s edition features every issue of Playboy — exactly as it appeared in print,” the company said.

“Get instant access to every unforgettable Playmate, as well as all the legendary interviews, fiction by the most influential writers of our age.”

The company said the magazine browsing software from Bondi allows users to search through the months and years and browse each issue.

That would be a big box of DVDs

I'm betting they may have limiting software on that drive.
Don't want you porn merchants stealing their images.

I suspect there is actually only a few blurays worth of data on the drive.

Yea, if you were gonna release it on a "data" blu-ray.......but that would severely limit your audience.

I'm just wondering why it's on a drive?
I'm wondering at the resolution level of the pix, the "stars" of the package?

No, and I don't think it's intended that way? I think it's for aficionados of Playboy's product.

I think it is meant as an alternate for someone who wants to have access to the content outside of CyberClub; and some people are completists. I don't see it as a "this revolutionises our product" so much as "here's a another way to get all of the pictorials you love and remember."
