Newly Formed Investment Group Acquires YNOT.com and Cybernet Expo

HOUSTON, Tex., Aug. 30, 2010 – Newly formed company YNOT Group, LLC announced today that it has acquired the assets of YNOT Network, LP, including the popular YNOT.com, a resource website for adult entertainment professionals. The acquisition also includes the newly launched YNOTEurope.com and the long running annual Cybernet Expo business trade show. The assets were acquired from former YNOT.com owner Gary Grigoryan for an undisclosed sum, and will be used by YNOT Group as the anchor for an all new lineup of information and technology products the company plans to launch in the coming months and years.

YNOT Group, led by industry veteran Connor Young, and backed by a private European investment group, has taken direct control over the acquired assets. Mr. Young, who served as President for YNOT Network previously, will retain his position as President under the new company. Also moving to the new YNOT Group is YNOT veteran Jay Kopita, who will continue to head up all ad sales for YNOT.com, YNOTEurope.com and Cybernet Expo. Additional staff announcements will be made in the coming weeks.

"The YNOT brand is one of the longest running professional brands in the Internet industry, and it's a brand that's synonymous with integrity and with the adult Internet business itself," explains Connor Young. "We plan to move swiftly and aggressively in the coming months to position YNOT Group and its assets to be successful in both the short term and long term, and we're serious about our mission of providing the information and technologies that will enable adult businesses to stay competitive in a changing landscape."

Good to see a couple of the longest running brands in the adult internet moving forward and expanding. Perhaps a good omen for the porn world in general?

Good luck with the future Jay. I'd love to see YNOT as it once was (when I was a full member!) ;)

Great news, congrats! I agree with Danny - Ynot pretty much set the standard back in the day and continues to hold great potential.

To late if you ask me.
YNOT squandered a very good opportune time the last couple years while XBIZ made nothing but massive progress.
I guess late is better than never, but then I am doubting there will be paid articles and columnists. I mean really the adult biz is not that big anymore so it's just going to be an ad revenue cow for dumb guys that think branding thier latest program in an ad campaign will rope in webmasters.
Hopefully they got deep pockets though and over pay Jay for a few months. At least someone has a job a little longer.

Over all though Sorry just dont see monster come backs for YNOT Network and its Webmaster resources.

Yes, well, when the trade show people want to talk to me about the various domains I own regarding trade shows, et all, they know how to contact me.

Well, this is just short sighted. After you've been in the adult biz for more than 2 weeks, you may have a different opinion.

After 25 years, I have seen nothing but continued growth.
