That was a crazy story. The whole time I was reading it, I was in disbelief that the guy kept forking out money. When the first tgp wasn't delivered, isn't that enough of a sign to not proceed!? Would have been for me ... :scratchin

While it sucks that the guy got taken, there seem to be a lot of stories like this of people who continue to put out the cash even when it's obvious that they are being taken. We used to get lots of newbies show up @ events and ask about so-and-so company that they paid $2k to have a website built or such-and-such company that was supposed to deliver a turnkey site that they never got. Many times they would admit that after sending the first $1k+ payment, they sent more $$ months later after prompting from the company. It's not funny, actually it's more sad than anything else.

I'm always happy to come here and see these sites/companies get called out on the carpet. Forewarned IS forearmed!
