The bill that they'd finally ended up with was far from what I'd call health care reform, but given the Mass. election result it seems unlikely anything any less watered down will get passed.

What really needs to happen first, is to get health care costs under control. Until that happens ANY health care insurance reform plan is doomed to failure.

As long as insurance companies have to answer to stock holders that's never never going to happen.
