I haven't been to Vegas in 2 or 3 years.
Maybe I'll do what I do in Phoenix each year and rent a car so I can cruise around and do some sight-seeing at the same time.

That's if I have time. This being my first show as an employee (say it with me) of AVN. ;)

Careful when you cross the state line with that rental car!!!

Rental cars are largely a waste of time in Vegas unless you're going outside of town. Cabs are way too easy and convenient there. And parking, although free, is often on the ass end of any resort and a hike to get to the casino/restaurant/club/whatever. Valet is an option if you're patient.

However, if you have an afternoon or morning to kill, Red Rock, Hoover Dam, etc are worthwhile.

I generally do not rent a car in vegas now due to traffic and parking, but grab one at the hotel rental counter for just the day if I decide to venture out.

But you can rent such cool vehicles in LV.

Yup, if you dont mind dropping $500 for a day, a romp in a Ferrari or Lambo out into the desert is a hell of a lot of fun.

Jes' don't pick up hitch hikers on the way to the canyon, they are probably convicts.

These comments remind me of something I saw this weekend as I was running some errands:

Lime green Lambo with vanity plates, cruising through town.

The kicker, though was what was on the paltes:

"OUTOF$$$$"

I'm looking forward to another extended stay in Hong Kong around that time. I think I will get more work done there than in Vegas. But the again, the show isn't really aimed at me anyhow.

Amazing how many people in this industry resemble that remark.

No matter how much they've made, they've spent it all as fast as they made it.

Though we're now seeing a new class of "broke ass webmaster" and that is those who saved some money, but failed to adapt and they've now burned thru what they saved.

You can't hail one down on the strip, and I remember how long that wait is on the velvet rope line to get a cab, depending on what hotel you're in. Some of those wait times for cabs at the Venetian were brutal!

I've been to many of the sights around Vegas, but mostly in passing. If I rent something, it'll be on site but not a Vette! Maybe a Mustang.

I should really do a site sometime on how a cheap fuck can roll like a VIP in Vegas.

I never wait more than 5 minutes for a cab. You just gotta know where the alternate drop off point is at each hotel and grab one as someone else bails out of it.

I'm lookin forward to it too even tho I was in Vegas in August and Sept. LOL.

I've never found the need for a car in Vegas. Hell, most of the time I barely leave the hotel.
