You make me sad.
Though NASCAR is dumb, I do love me some football (it may well BE because those boys're always patting each other on the tush, to be honest, but really, it's mostly 'cos I like it when boys beat the snot out of each other). I think watermelon is a pointless food.
But fried green 'maters 'n okra? Sign me up.
I don't have my CCR, though, 'cos I don't hide my guns. Also, I usually carry knives instead.

I do like the other dishes ya mentioned...and Liz it is acceptable for a chick to dig watchin football just like we dig watchin hot chicklets do one another (ok its boring to me but it isnt homoerotic like footbal)
and aint a damn thing wrong wid RC Cola and a Moon Pie.
though I am a big sweet tea drinker.

I love black beans and yellow rice, vegetarian sushi, Boca burgers, bicycle riding and kayaking.

Well that explains a lot. Especially all the NY and Latin accents around here.
I do have a white trash side of my family that I don't have anything to do with. Some of them do actually live in trailers and my nephew ran off with my sister in law and married her so I guess that counts for some southern influence.

True, my bad. They are hillbilly white trash southern from my mother's first marriage living somewhere in northern Florida these days. I did speak to my half brother not long ago (he tried to hit me up for money). He told me that I should move up there because it is just like Fort Lauderdale was back in the seventies. Odd how you have to go north in Florida to find southern folks.

Here in south Florida we have a pretty good collection of trash people of all races but white trash people have become the minority as south Florida has become more urban.

try south east London, some of the nastiest white trash you will ever meet. And lots of them are black.
