I have watched this come into fruition over the last few years with the advance of technology and the spread of webcams in every household. The adult social sites were a big clue when you noticed the HUGE amount of "dick profiles".

The real money is in webcams and more specific ... the money is made WATCHING THEM. Vanity, self-centered, closet kinks, whatever the motivation ... guys seem to love showing off on cam for the girl and are willing to pay to be watched. Food for thought and something the tubes can't duplicate.

I agree completely that live is where it's at. One step up from the text/image social sites.

But you definitely gave me a new twist to think on. Getting guys to pay to show. I like it :okthumb:

Now how to implement it?

thanx

Yup, I know a lot of cam girls and they all say the same thing, that these guys like to show their cocks. Go figure. I'm sure you can cash in on that.

No problem. To take the conversation a little deeper ... it's more than just "guys wagging their cocks on cam" ... the point I was trying to make was more about the kink or fetish they desire. I spend too much time trying to chase $30 for a membership or $x for a clip, when "the real money" comes from the guy that wants to play cross-dressing fashion show on live cam for an hour and will drop $2-300/hr to play. It's all about developing a deep client list of these guys. They pay for the "1st person experience" of participating with their cam, not the 3rd person experience of just viewing pics and vids.

No news to me (or my accountant) or anybody else who has been a successful camgirl either. :) Sometimes they don't want to *literally* show off, often times it's mental or psychological (this crap about guys being *all* about visual is just that).

You know a lot of the most successful cam girls never take their clothes off, let alone do sex shows as such. It's all about *talking* to the guys and getting them to express what they really want to express; often times that's expose themselves (physically or mentally) but sometimes it's like chatting about their troubles at work/school (I kid you not).

This is nothing new: Think Shirley Maclaine - Sweet Charity or Tina Turner, ... Private Dancer ...

Affiliate programs where you get to see actually which guy spent how much can provide some mind boggling data sometimes. Guys who drop $10K in a month on privates... I'll happily take 35% of that any day! :clapping:

Webcam is definitely a service business for performers - it doesn't feel anything like shooting porn content, private shows aren't really about performing so much as building a relationship with a client that helps with some desire or fantasy of they have.

Hi everyone, long time no post here!

I saw this thread and had to respond. One of the niches I push is crossdressing. They LOVE to show off for the camera! Find any crossdresser social site that allows you to post adult pics on it and you'll find thousands of amateur crossdresser pictures and movies.

I am trying to get a social site going for crossdressers, already got a forum. BUT, I don't see how you can let them post pictures without getting in trouble with that 2257 crap. Don't see how you could do it without lots of paperwork.

Open a crossdresser site where they compete to be the star each week, and I guaranty they will pay to upload their pictures and videos. Just take a look at the ones on youtube!

2257 would only come into play for sexually explicit images. I would imagine that you could get many to upload pics even with a rule of "No Sexually Explicit" images.
