Since September 2008, there are 88 million fewer credit card accounts, and credit lines have been reduced by $751 billion. However, delinquency rates are the highest they have been in five years, with 4.36 percent of bankcard accounts more than 60 days late in September, up from 3.39 percent a year ago and 2.8 percent in September 2007.

That about says it all. I think its good news, however, because like all things, this credit crisis shall pass. This is our biggest problem and we can do nothing about it except have faith in our product and press on regardless.

That is what a lot of people are doing. Cash advance on this one, to pay that one, and then reverse 15 days later. Buys you a month, costs a fortune to do.

I pay my Visa with my Amex, then I pay my Amex with my Mastercard, and then I pay off the mastercard with my Amex reward points.

I'm making money hand over fist!

I have no credit card debt these days.

I've been there, done that, and know better then to ever be in credit card hell again.

i've been saying all along that it isn't the tubes that is our major problem, it's credit card declines.

On the paysites that I manage I'm seeing a massive amount of card declines each day.

I have great credit but even I have to call my bank sometimes before my card is accepted online to buy something.

I see this as a positive sign though. It isn't our business model that is flawed or that the novelty of porn has worn off or something else. Once the credit card mess has cleared up sales should get back to normal.

At least this is a problem that affects all industries and not just adult. I'm about tired of hearing about issues that affect only adult.

But it effects us more being online and having people in our industry that bang credit cards. So you got less credit, less credit cards and then the group left with credit cards are afraid to pull it out because they got bang when they thought they were signing up for one thing.

I'll second that thinking...
