Anyone else following the strange goings on up in Hardin, Montana?

Synopsis:

They built a jail that sat empty.

Last spring they advertised that they wouldn't mind taking on Gitmo detainees to fill their little prison. Didnt go anywhere apparently.

About the same time as that they are contacted by the "American Police Force", a private security company about running the jail.

They apparently work out a contract.

American Police Force show up last week in cars marked "Hardin Police" but Hardin has no police force and apparently noone at APF had authority to do that.

APF seems shady or black ops, no ownership info available.

The APF site uses the Serbian coat of arms as it's logo.

APF has no experience with prisoners.

AFP is also building a fairly large "Training Center" that they need 5000-10000 acres for.

AFP has promised, on top of takling care of the prison and building the Training Center to build homelss shelters, provide health care for the city's residents and deliver meals to the homeless.

Being reported some places as "Private Security Form Occupying Town".

There is at least one letter floating around the net that purports to be from a town citizen with the report that they have been told that their police force is being privatized even though they had no police force.

Strange strange shit indeed.
