What a life this guy had......
When I was a child I loved watching his show In the 21st Century.
Damn I feel old now...

I still remember watching "Old Walt" on the CBS evening news every night while having dinner with my parents.
And I specifically remember how my mother cried when he reporting on the assassination of Bobby Kennedy in 1968.
PS. I feel old too Cleo . . . . aw hell! I am old.

You could argue that he owned the 20th. He inspired me to be a news guy and he was untouchable at CBS.
