Bing is doing fairly well - although I have noticed that they are buying ad space on googleads to get people to bing, so I am not sure if the traffic is really, ummm, organic. ;)

I don't think Bing will do well long term. Using phrases directly from Bing ads, I compared
the search results with those of Google. Google had superior results, even for the phrases
in Bing's ads, so long term I don't think Bing will do much better than it did when it was
called LiveSearch. Interestingly, the definition of "bing" from dictionary.com is "a heap or pile".
I'd like to ask MS, bing is a heaping pile of what, exactly? :)

You don't think for a minute that Google didn't go through those exact results and set "best" results? I am sure google has a professional set of cleaners that do nothing but fix the results for terms used by competitors.

What I am finding for Bing is mostly that nobody has figured out how to specifically spam it yet, so the results are actually normal. Give it a few weeks, let the spammers get to work, and I am sure their results will be as crappy and virus filled as everyone elses are.

This is yet another case of even a big company that will have to give it time to blossom......2/4 years tops.....

I haven't seen much from Bing yet. Only a little.
Is it worth a visit every day?

What can one get from it that the others aren't already offering?
