SO the story goes.
On the other hand, I mentioned a musician that I enjoy having tied into the Twitter phenomenon in one of the other threads - I knew she used it, having read as much in her blog posts, but had no idea whether she was monetising it effectively.
Apparently, she is.
Her recent post on it is here (http://blog.amandapalmer.net/post/128911225/ninja-beach-show-today-in-la-regina-video-pix). It's definitely not our business model, but there are some pretty straight-forward facts there that point out that it is, in fact, possible to make money using Twitter if one goes about it in an out-of-the-box thinking kinda way.
Some of the things she mentions in the post here are things I have suggested before as maybe-not-obvious-but-potentially-interesting opportunities.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the musical 'verse, since she's put that out there pretty blatantly.
Thoughts? (Though, don't hate me if I don't get back here for a week to join the discussion - I'm not flashing and running, but I DO travel to SF to hang out w/ LAJ and the gang at Cybernet Expo starting tomorrow.)
