CYBERNET EXPO ANNOUNCES 2009 LINEUP OF WORKSHOPS AND PANEL DISCUSSIONS FOR JUNE SHOW IN SAN FRANCISCO

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 23, 2009 – Cybernet Expo is pleased to announce the schedule of workshops and panel discussions for this year’s Cybernet Expo 2009, taking place at the Golden Gateway Hotel in San Francisco from June 25th through June 27th. New this year will be a special classroom style Intensive Training Series that will run in addition to the more traditional industry panel discussions from the Industry Insider Series. The schedule of workshops and panels will cover a variety of subjects of vital interest to adult Internet businesses, and features an impressive lineup of talented industry experts who will share what they know with Cybernet Expo attendees.

“This year we are complimenting our traditional panel discussions with our brand new Intensive Training Series,” says Connor Young, President of YNOT Network, owners and operators of Cybernet Expo. “Think a college classroom setting with one instructor and a prepared course of study. We think these smaller classroom-like training workshops will be an extremely popular addition to Cybernet Expo.”

Courses from the Intensive Training Series will cover a variety of topics. Porn legend Dave Cummings, an experienced college level instructor and veteran of adult video production, will be teaching a class on shooting and producing adult video content. Spannow, adult Internet photographer and owner of SoloBabeCash.com, will be conducting a live photo shoot featuring Internet model Emily Saint from EmilySaint.com, complete with instructions on everything from shooting in cramped spaces to indoor lighting and working with models. Adult attorney Eric M. Bernstein will be teaching what is sure to be a crowded room on the issue of complying with 18 USC 2257 record-keeping laws. Lisa Weinberger, an experienced Internet marketing instructor from PearlyWrites.com, will be teaching a class on organic traffic generation, covering topics like search engine optimization and leveraging social media networks like Twitter and Facebook. Web developer and marketing expert KevinG from Web 3.0 Internet Consulting is scheduled to lead a class in best practices in website design, and industry veteran Quentin Boyer from Pink Visual has agreed to teach a session designed to introduce new arrivals to the basics of the online adult entertainment business.

Returning to Cybernet in 2009 will be its popular Industry Insider Series of panel discussions, with each topic featuring a panel of 4 to 6 expert speakers from various segments of the adult entertainment business. Topics for the Insider Series include Techniques in Modern Adult Internet Marketing, Online Billing: Beyond the IPSP, Opportunities for Women in Adult Businesses, Understanding Fetish and Niche Markets, Writing for Adult Businesses, Buying Adult Traffic, and State of the Industry. A complete listing of speakers will be made available on the Cybernet Expo website.

In addition to the Industry Insider and Intensive Training sessions, a couple of short special addresses will be delivered by Allan Henning, founder of DatingGold.com, and Connor Young, President of YNOT.com.

Attendees are encouraged to register early for the show. Early bird registration rates of $99 per badge are scheduled to end next week. To register for Cybernet Expo, please visit http://www.cybernetexpo.com/registration.html Attendees are also encouraged to reserve their hotel room now, to ensure the low group rates for Cybernet attendees. Group rates can be secured by booking your room through visiting http://www.cybernetexpo.com/hotel.html

Cybernet Expo would like to thank all of our sponsors, who have made this year’s event possible. Special thanks to HotMovies.com / MovieDollars.com, DatingGold.com, eMerchantPay.com, RIVCash.com, AdultPaymaster.com, Attorney Eric M. Bernstein, X-digg.com, FTVCash.com, Webbilling.com, HDPays.com, Rackco.com and GroobyBucks.com. Cybernet Expo would also like to thank MediumPimpin.com and Shay Laren of ShayLaren.com, the official model of Cybernet Expo 2009, plus all of the companies who will be exhibiting at this year’s Show and Sell Marketplace.

A complete lineup of parties, networking events and cocktail receptions for Cybernet Expo 2009 will be posted on the Cybernet Expo website in a few days.

Your not very good at this.

Oprano has been a friend of Cybernet Expo for many years and several of us went to San Fran last year. I was on a fucking panel at the last minute even.

Please save the overblown hype for your friends at The Zoo... we all know the difference beween a good and poor show.

Who pissed on your cornflakes today Gonzo !

Sorry you took it as any more than what it was.

Last year I toured SF in the afternoon intending to skip the ball and as l got out the elevator l bump into Robbie/Claudia-Marie going to the gig, I said l was gonna skip it and sleep but they said hey ...quick shower and you will be good to go...and thats what l did....and it was a great nite :)

So no hype ,no nothing ...just my experience...yes Jay has many friends/boards that support him and great if your part of that team ,and yes its a good show.

Its all relaxed and fine ;)

Making postive comments is not drama just polite talk :)

See you in June :okthumb:

I dont eat cornflakes.

I guess a couple of things bother me.

1. The fact that your a very poor board whore as its transparent that your only here to "bump" these threads. The users of this forum see right thru the act and honestly it does Jay no favors. Dont get me wrong I think its nice of Jay to hire you for show promo.

2. People that think they are PR professionals by the fact they have a cute ass, a nice rack and some DSLs. The business is crowded now with way too many. The appeal for those that provide apple bongs or client provided/expensed cocaine at shows might be overwhelming though.

By the way dont you owe the last company you did this for some money?

What Gonzo said.
Kid, if you are gonna pitch, you better at least learn how to do it well. This ain't even pr 101 and you are so over your head.
Why is it that everyone thinks they can market because they read a book or saw a youtube video?
So Claire, I am in Vancouver. I have a few connections around here. Who do you work with on the West Coast?

I think Jay will get out the hook on this chick.

Hi Gonzo,

Thanks for the reply I will try to answer your concerns.

1. I cant bump a thread that is already top of a page and a sticky ? I think it would make more sense to wait until it was near the bottom of a page ?.

It was a simple polite factual comment ,and of course its showing support for a show as many who post in this thread would be doing the same l assume.

A board whore im not so sure of ,my posts here amount to under 40? and l have known of this board for at least 2 years, the same applies for ynot , xbiz etc all under 50 posts.

For gfy thats a different set up as l have to post there as part of my job.

As for hiring me, most clients dont get to see me or if so its at shows to go over marketing or logistics and almost all clients have a clause in thier contract that states that the overall new income will be higher than the investment in marketing or PR ( not many can offer that)

Im sure you already know many of the well known companies I have or do work with and you can be assured that they are quite capable of organising thier own girls, drugs, parties or whatever they need without having to employ myself or the company.

New Clients are consistantly growing steady and establised ones are happy with the results and that itself means something must be right in such a tough market.

Regarding money l assume you are referring to the only case that exsists out of the last 200 or so deals/transactions/contracts made between the management corp I work for and a sponsor.

It is the law of nature when you deal with so many contracts of which some are more complex than others and have values in the 5 and 6 figure range at some point a disagreement will take place. In this one and only ever instance a legal contact dispute did occur but has since reached lm happy to say a tentitive ongoing out of court agreement that suits both parties at this time.

I hope that answers your questions and welcome you to experience our services in the near future, witness for yourself why we are growing and the success our clients are experiencing. :)

I am available on icq should you wish to discuss our services.

Thanks

Claire (icq) 355591441

I hope you guys support Jay and the show, like you did me for 10 years. They try and make it a well rounded show, with education, networking atmosphere, and lot's of fun thrown in.

I still have to check it out from time to time - after all it was my 'baby for a lot of years:-)

I had not seen the article - thanks for the kind words....

but, as a matter of history, I am obliged to point out a couple of things. AdultDex started in the early 90s as a public show, bringing in as many as 15,000 people; and ran until COMDEX (the largest computer show in the country) died around 2002. It was always held in November in Vegas. From 1997 until 2002 we did 2 shows a year. About '99 we added a Cybernet Expo agenda to AdultDex. A lot of webmasters were attending AdultDex, so we gave them their own schedule - mixing the public and private shows. But AdultDex and Cybernet were never the same show, or the same audience.

Cybernet Expo DID have a name change. The first show in New Jersey was WebExpo. When we found we could not Trademark the name - we changed it the following year.

Lot's of stories and memories:-)

Coolness!

OH... and one more thing here:

I still need a few more speakers...

http://www.cybernetexpo.com/seminars.html

Would love to have a BBW and a TS/TG speaker for the "Understanding Fetish and Niche Markets" panel...

At least 1 or 2 more speakers on the "Buying Adult Traffic on a Budget" panel...

And possibly an outspoken model on the "State of the Industry" panel...

All of these are on June 27. Please hit me up at jay at ynot dot com or icq 92418228 thanks!

Hahahahahah. I just tried that and it failed miserably. Great topic. I will be interested to see who signs up to chair that session.
