1. ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) has no set up fee to get started.

2. Your clips use ClipClinic's (http://www.clipclinic.com) bandwidth so theres no monthly hosting fees either.

3. Use ClipClinic's (http://www.clipclinic.com)processing and avoid VISA processing fees and the long loathsome approval process.

4. Avoid paying a designer and use ClipClinic's (http://www.clipclinic.com) premade styles to create your own storefront. Add a custom banner or one of our premade ones in your header and you are ready to start.

5. ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) customers are repeat buyers and typically pay more in a month for clips than a membership to most pay sites.

6. You're not alone the ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) affiliate program is built in. Freesite promoters you can make 30% off the studios you promote and get a feel to market these sites effectively.

You can start out as an affiliate and build up to becoming a clip studio.

Here are some additional tips to consider.
Setting up a ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) studio storefront is similar to how some of the vets in this biz used AVS sites as a means to prelaunch a paysite. After all you are looking at no start up costs, established billing and no design worries.

If you don’t have content then you will need to buy or license some.

You will need a decent amount to build a solid revenue base as I have learned with VOD - studios with a good deal of content are the ones that make the most money. Its pretty simple you have to offer several things so that the repeat customers will have something to buy from a studio they know and trust. You should be able make enough money back in a month and a half to cover your licensing costs and if your marketing aggressively even your own shoots. Those clips remain in your ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) storefronts so after that point your still building revenue from your existing base and have money to reinvest for new clips.

Strategize the way that you build your clips as well as how you market traffic back to those clips.

You will want to try and choose a good niche or category. A good way to get started is to check out the categories at ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) and see where the least amount of competition is OR you can invent your own genre as we add categories from time to time.

Don’t worry about competition from the tubes either. You can contact me for some exposure on Pornotube in the ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) Channel. If you’ve chosen your niche correctly it will stand out from the big studio content as a unique independent brand all on its own.
This is good because when marketing to the niche customer demands are higher and not by generic porn. Offer a quality genuine product and they will buy.

Watermark these clips with your url that will turn into a paysite and when you have enough content you may actually want to launch a paysite as well.

ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) then becomes a great repository for your behind the scenes footage which effectively becomes a one time purchase where your trailer at the end of the clip is a qualified upsell. At this point you've determined that the surfer has a valid credit card , they will buy internet porn and bought your product.

If you've delivered what the customer has expected then they WILL trust you.
Its more effective as a studio not to rely long term on the influx of traffic from being listed on the front page of ClipClinic (http://www.clipclinic.com) for your sales. A common mistake that studios make is to upload the clip and forget about it.

Instead you should drive traffic through TGP submits, cross linking, board or forum posts.

Maybe you could speed that up a bit.

Do not see anywhere to register, so it could take longer. :)

Also you could show the front end, what the surfers see.

Hey Gonzo, is there a white label option being considered for Clip Clinic?

A question on video formats on ClipClinic...

I'm setting up a store for Carol's videos and I see the list of acceptable file types (zip, wmv, avi, mov, flv, mpg, rm, 3gp, qt, real, mpeg). Will ClipClinic also accept m4v's for the iPhone and iPod and also MP4 extensions? Some Blackberry mobile devices allow only DivX videos, will those be included also? I also have members who like the High Definition 1280X720 DivX videos I do so they can burn them onto disc and watch them on their HD TV's.

I just don't feel like uploading a huge video format, and then having the system tell me it's not acceptable ;)

Okay, I created a store and uploaded a video clip, and set the price. It says the clip has been approved, but the store isn't. I also don't see how to add or edit the text against the clip?!

Okay, I see that you have to create a "Product" and then add the "File" to it.
