Amazing stuff when you keep your eyes open.

Noticed a $20.00 account fee on my bank statement this month. Never had it before in 15 years of having the accounts. So I went in to speak to my local banker to question it. Not only did he refund it, but he removed any future charges and set me up to have my business account fee removed also. Ten minutes of my time and I saved $444 a year. Cool! :okthumb:

Now I wonder how many people will either not notice it or just let it ride. And how many millions will that put in the banks coffers???

Wouldnt the bank need to inform its clients of such a change in their account fee's?

Glad you noticed it and sorted it fast, to some people i am sure that $20.00 is a lot, given the current global crises etc. With reading your post you would also think that some banks are doing it hard themselves also.
