We've already gotten a record snowfall for the month of December and now we got a storm that is supposed to dump anywhere from 9-12" more of snow!! :) Other than digging out, even with a snowblower it sucks royally with that much snow, I love these kind of storms!! :okthumb: Supposed to start at like 8 pm tonight and go until 6 pm tomorrow!!

Huge? No, huge is like 20 - 25 inches. 9 - 12 inches is "just another snowfall" as far as I can tell.

No matter where you live that's a good sized storm.. are there bigger ones? of course but it's still a good sized storm...

There's a list of some doozies.. and it has a big caveat in that it doesn't include "Lake Effect" snow storms which can be monsters...

That list doesn't include a snowstorm from Feb 6th of this year where we got 20" plus or minus depending on where you were....

I missed some of last winter, but I know we had more than one over 30cms, which is a foot.

From a couple of years ago, we had one at 41cms (about 15 inches) with "The storm – which was the first major one of the season in many areas – dropped 17 centimetres in and around Montreal in one hour alone on Friday." which is 6 inches in an hour.

It all depends what you are use to.

Yup. I don't min big storm other than either shovelling or using the snowblower.

It even snowed in Vancouver. Snow in the city sucks. I had to move right in the middle of it....nine hours of misery. But the world wide headquarters of leggy cash is now moved, set up and wired.

It's 13 degrees right now. This blows.
Here's a live shot of Bellingham Bay from downtown.

9cm of snow in Toronto and they go into panic. I wonder if they will call out the armed forces this time too?

I was there when Mel Lastman did it. Got my street cleared smartly. I loved it.
