I haven't posted one of these in a while so thought now might be a goo time to do so...

The Great Buck Howard (http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/thegreatbuckhoward/) - Odd looking film with John Malkovich as a maginia type character that has seen hi better days. Tom hanks is also in the movie. Could be a good quirky comedy.

Terminator Salvation (http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/terminatorsalvation/) - Christian Bale takes off the Batsuit and jumps into another famous franchise as John Connor and take on the machines in the future.

Fired Up (http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/firedup/) - Funny preview. Two football players decide they want to go to cheerleader camp with 300 women instead of going to footbal camp and be without women for two weeks.

New In Town (http://www.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/newintown/) - good date movie. Renee Zellweger plays a west coaster sent to work at a plant in Minnesota.

Watchmen (http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/watchmen/) - new comic book movie set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the “Doomsday Clock” – which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union – is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. Highly anticipated movie.

Duplicity (http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/duplicity/) - a better option for a date movie for the guys that will keep you both happy. Julia Roberts and Clive Owen play ex cia an mi-6 operatives who are lovers and are trying to pull off a scam but also have trust issues.

The Wrestler (http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/thewrestler/) - This film has been raved about and is winning awards on the festival circuit. Mickey Rourke plays and old washed up wrestler who is broken down and who's personal life has left a trail of destruction behind him.

Star Trek (http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/startrek/) - This will either be a spectacular uccess or an abymal failure largely on how well people who love Trek like myself see this reboot origin story of the original characters with a new cast. It looks very visually appealling but the trailers don't feel very Star Trek to me. :(

I just saw the pre release of Nobel Son. Boring title, amazing movie. Lots of twists, turns, kidnappings, severed thumbs and possibly the best ransom exchange I have everf seen. Its something you might overlook if you didn't hear about it from someone. Thank God the crap from the writer's strike is ending.

I think that new Star Trek movie looks awesome. Just watched trailer 2 for the first time.
It's going to do very well...

Yeah.. Rourke had a hard time with the movie as he's a mehtod actor and getting into character meant he ahd to go to his own personal hell he went through.

Older wrestlers who have seen the movie rave about it and say it's an accurate portrayal of what happens to many wrestlers. The spotlight is like an extremely addictive drug.

I'm a HUGE Trekkie and just don't know. The trailer 2 you mentioned didn't feel like a Trek movie to me. It felt like a typical Hollywood job of trying to ramp up the action and "cool factor" but it didn't feel liek Star Trek. It felt like they didn't think Star trek was good enough and had to radically change it. I'm sure it will make good money as even with my severe skepticism I'll go, but a followup movie will depend on how people think it stays true to what trek is while trying to make it more modern an flashy.

His awful plastic surgery works well for him in this role. I gotta see this one.

I remember running into "The Junk Yard Dog" one time in Augusta Ga back in the 70's. That mother put away 6 chili dogs (with slaw) like they was nothing!
