I was watching Trailer Park Boys, and a term came up that I thought much more clearly identifies a "bros" relationship.

Shit Buddy.

Basically, it's "We're shit buddies, because I know shit about you, and you know shit about me, so we can do shit together".

So no more bros, just shit buddies.
