Over a year ago when that was written he was claiming $120K per month. You can buy an assload of hosting and pipe for that and still have yourself a tidy little income.

I think the real goal for selling it was based on Google buying Youtube for insane money. Problem is that exist strategy doesn't work for the most part in adult. That's the one thing that is HIGHLY appealing about a mainstream startup, if it does get legs and go and you can show that it can be cash flow positive, have a path to profitibility and scalability, even in this market, Google, Microsoft and others will throw enough stock at you in a buy out to make you set for life.

But again, no such animal in adult.

I agree with GonZo, there's a couple of real pearls in that article including a variation of the dogshit on a stick rule.
