The t shirts, caps and mugs are already for sale. Every misspelling of joetheplumber. whatever is taken. There actually is a joetheplumber.com in amarillo and his server must be getting hit hard. Capitalism at its finest. But its going to kill McCain.
Its all over but the crying. McCain is sinking like a sunset. It was clear he crashed in the debate and has been abandoned by the Republicans. He really is not up to the job whether you lean left or right, this guy is no John Kennedy.
What was pathetic was how much he kept bringing him up and the whole redistribution of wealth crap. How weak.

IT was McCain's only hope. He was going to use the Ayers thing, but the moderator handed that one to Obama as a softball and he hit it right out of the park and killed it.
Joe The Plumber is getting his 15 minutes of fame. Too bad it appears that he is a registered republican, which sort of makes him a plant, and too bad that the whole question of income is personal and not for a small business. Honestly, if the guy is making 250,000 profit from a plumbing business, a little more tax (say 1% or 2500 a year) isn't going to kill him, after all, that profit would be after he had paid himself a nice wage. So it isn't like suddenly Joe the Plumber is going to end up stopping the bottled water or replacing holiday cards with ecards or anything.

That was an Obama sweep last night. He went three for three in the debates.

Maybe he can get a wannabe player job and be a little wigger that deletes posts after his bros give him a little BJ.
Giving up your water bottle aint so bad when your bros buy you drinks to cover up for em.

I watched about half of the debate, and McCain did look quite desperate at times. Instead of properly dealing with the questions, he attacked Obama every chance he could. Made him look weak.
The pundits were all talking about how even the debate was and how McCain handled himself so well, yet every poll that every network did (including Fox!!!) showed people were much more into Obama than McCain. It was really funny watching the right-wingers over at Fox trying to dispute their own polls ;)

Danny, I noticed that too. The funniest part was McCain claiming that Obama's campaign is much more negative than his, and then every time he got to speak, he would say "now Senator Obama's plan is bad because..." and would almost never talk about his own ideas.
The entire staff of Fox News is going to get fired for this one, because I am sure that Rupert the Republican bear isn't happy.

Here is the fundamental difference for me. It was obvious that Obama could think on his feet. McCain kept trying to throw in script. The conservatives have thrown him to the wolves because they don't want to win this election. They want a black man to inherit a mess and fuck it up so they can return and once again
"rescue" the world. Face it you are either with them or against them.

Joe the Plumber won the debate.
McCain found one of the areas where he should really cut into Obama, but he didn't execute.
The real nugget that lies in there is Obama'a promise to provide 95% of Americans with a tax cut paid for by the top 5% of earners. Now here's the part that is interesting about that....45% of Americans pay no taxes.
So you take from the rich and give the bottom feeders a check. That's income redistribution any way you slice it.

Joe is a fake, no plumbing license, owes taxes and healthcare bills. Only made 40k in 2006,his boss isnt planning on selling his business and it only makes about 100k. Another person voting against their own self interests its so sad.

Yes, but between, Reagan, Bush 1, and now Bush2, it has been proven that trickle down (aka "voodoo economics") just doesn't work. The rich get richer and keep the money for themselves, they don't suddenly pop out and put it to work.
Give a rich guy $100, and he puts it in his investment plan that buys a little more stock, and well, it sort of disappears.
Give a poor guy $100, and he goes out and buys stuff (insert anything here from clothes to food to beer to hookers, it isn't important). That money they actually works it's way through the system and creates wealth and economic activity at all levels, including in the end getting the poor guy (or his wife, or girlfriend, or mom) a job. Yes, it is trickle up economics, but at least it puts the money into the part of the economy that is active, not inactive.
I personally am against handing money back to people who didn't pay taxes to start with, but I seem to remember a recent US president (the current one) sending out checks for $1000 or so. Seems to me that both parties agree.
Ask yourself... who looked and acted more presidential up there?

The moderator. He looked out of control and was working from an agenda set by someone else.
Presidental, like Bush, right?
What won the debate for obama was abortion, imo.

Who said that?
I did.
Let's see, I dont have to pay for my mortgage, but get to keep the house. I can get food stamps for chow. No taxes to worry about, in fact, i'll get a check there. I'll also get a bit of welfare for basic living expenses.
I figure I can just sit on my ass and still be pretty comfortable if I scale back just a little bit.

Haha... cute. You do realize I think bush is the biggest piece of shit in modern times?

Yup. Just like a moderator, not able to run the show because other people are calling the shots. Sort of like Bush, a puppet of sorts.

Dont be so sure.
Remember the popular vote in the US doesn't elect the president, it's all about the electoral votes weighted by states. I have little doubt that Obama wins the popular vote.
It may very well come down to Florida again.
