Press Release:
The Multi-Niched affiliate program LotzaDollars.com recently underwent a major facelift, with more promotional tools, more payout and program options, and completely renovated tours and members areas. LotzaDollars V3 offers 23 niched sites, new tools, cascading billing, hosted galleries, free content, picture of the day, free hosting, morphing RSS feeds and more.

"We've been around for nine years now and have a strong following,” LotzaDollars owner Ed Dodge stated, "but we knew it was time to take our program to the next level. After working with many of our affiliates we created a list of their most important features and options that they thought would help in their promotions with LotzaDollars. We're proud of the finished result, and think our affiliates will be, too.

LotzaDollars.com prides itself in offering a full range of niches to support any type of traffic. LotzaDollars.com provides its affiliates with free banners, RSS feeds, free hosting, hosted galleries and full-page ads, free sites as well as frequently upgrading its vast line of promotional tools.

Webmasters will earn up to 65 percent recurring revenue on each sale, plus 10 percent of all referred Webmaster sales. LotzaDollars also offers $30 Pay Per Signup.

"In the near future, we will be releasing several new updated tours and feature packed members areas," Dodge confirmed. "We plan to release seven to 10 more sites in the coming year, as well adding new tools and functionality to LotzaDollars. In addition, we will be adding new interactive features to our pay sites to encourage longer retention. All our member's areas have been rebuilt using the Carma CMS from Nats".

Sincerely,
Ed Dodge / Team Lotza

Sort of thing affiliates should get paid for, no?

Yep, yep. And I brought it up to Ed on ICQ a few years ago and he immediately removed it on the tour of the site I promoted. I thought he was so cool and posted and promoted the sponsor. Last year I saw the collection box was back and see it's still there. It's revshare, btw ... if it was PPS I'd not have said anything.

Hey Pam...

Can you please give me your affiliate ID. I should be able to set up a tour just for you dynamically without the email collection box. Actually we discussed this before with one of my tech guys when we moved to Nats.

I'd have no issue with the email collection box on the tour IF I still got credit for the sale if the surfer later signs-up via an email link.

Also, I assume you're aware that the links to the tours from all your new nats hosted galleries are 404.

Ed, really that box shouldn't be there on any affiliates traffic if you aren't giving credit. I don't think the idea is to do something special for Pam, but rather to do what is right for all affiliates.

Ed, would I have to change links? Or is this something done internally?

The email collection boxes are nothing...

Sign me up for a 3 day trial Membership to www2.hardsexmovies.tv for $1.00. After 3 days, Membership renews automatically at $29.92 every 1 month. Terms and Conditions
Sign me up for a 1 day trial Membership to www.POVfreaks.com for $1.00. After 1 day, Membership renews automatically at $34.82 every 1 month. Terms and Conditions

The $65 in prechecked cross sales on the join pages, now that's interesting!

What makes an affiliate believe they are entitled to a piece of every single thing a program does? The only thing you are entitled to is what they agree to pay you per the terms and conditions you agreed to when signing up whether it be recurring, per signup or per click. If you don't like what they are doing you are free to take your traffic elsewhere but you aren't entitled to anything other than what was agreed to be paid out by the T&C's. What's "right" is to do what they said they would do and pay you the amount agreed upon by the term and conditions. You are certainly in your right to try and get a different deal from them and/or take your traffic elsewhere but you agreed to the terms and conitions when signing up. Either live with it, try and get a deal for yourself you like with them or go elsewhere.

I don't think I'm "entitled" to a piece of everything the program does, just a fair share of what the customer I sent to them buys. Other ethical issues aside, I don't see pre-checks as any different than links to clip stores, email signup forms, or other traffic leaks on program tours that the affiliate isn't getting paid for.

They can do anything they want with the traffic they generate themselves, but if I'm sending the traffic via a revshare agreement, then pay me my fair share.

It seems its becoming more important to craft a solid T&C for a program as opposed to copying and pasting someone elses and as an affiliate it almost dictates that you reuqest a password to see how the members area is presented to the recurring member.

After all that is how the deal was struck.

The afffiliate model has long been broken.

I think the dwindling economy, the land grab by the scammers and a blind eye from the processors toward the ethics of prechecked cross sales has a lot of people thinking harder about where they push traffic.

You know its getting bad when top notch guys have to spin the hype by counting down how many seats are left on their Bro cruise a week before a major show.

When I had figured out a sponsor had shaved my balls raw I always made sure to drop by their booth to have a piece of pizza. After all Im almost certain I have paid for it previously anyways.

The blind eye can be turned only so long before the next level of "government", Visa and MC, come down and say "you do this and you will be fined $1000 per transaction", and the party will be over.

When that happens, there will probably a short term recession in porn, mostly programs that couldn't manage to exist without 2 cross sales dropping like flies, and their hangers on (bro suckers) will be left suddently with no other lifestyle than going back to McDonalds.

Just food for thought, Toby. If I refer you to a car dealer, I prolly get a few hundred bucks or some percentage of the sticker price of that car. Am I now entitled to a percentage of all the upgraded tires and spit shines he sells as well as a piece of the next deal he makes when he trades it in?

For the sake of argument, doesn't a referral kind of end with the introduction, hand shake and initial purchase? This in the real world. I have received "bonuses" for client referrals in the film business, but that was for the introduction. The referral fees paid in porn are astronomical compared to any other business.

How many industries have cookies that run deeper than that intro? Perhaps that is part of the reason this system is broken at the moment.

Not breaking anyone's balls here, but I kinda see both sides of this referral coin and believe me this has nothing to do with scumbag cross sales.

I don't expect a percentage of everything the customer ever purchases from that sponsor (unless that's part of the agreement). I just want the agreed percentage of whatever he buys at the time of that initial purchase.

You can think of cookies as analagous to a delayed into. You send someone to see your contact at the car dealer and the guy is off that day so they have to come back another day.

Personally, it's a moot point. I do not promote sponsors using any form of pre-checked cross sale, and I haven't seen any sponsors using unchecked cross sales.

I also don't pay much attention to cookie life. If I don't make the sale before the surfer leaves the site then I figure that chance is lost. I think I have a much better chance that he'll visit my site again and follow that same or another link back to the sponsor, rather than from a bookmark or from another non-affiliate link. Many surfers are also using utilities that delete cookies on a nightly basis, so it's a non-factor as far as I'm concerned.

I delete my cookies every time my browser closes. But that seems to be a problem for a lot of newbies. I absolutely agree with you on the agreement. You make a deal, you stick to it. I will do back flips to live up to my obligations and am appalled by those who don't.

FWIW

If I fail to sell the surfer on the initial click to any sponsor then I have not successfully reffer a customer that turns into a sale.
