You know how I always talk about how Wisconsin is full of drunks and such welll... a state newspaper looked at 10 different key factors and ranked all 50 states. Guess who was #1. Where does your state rank?

Interactive map that shows where your state ranks in terms of drinking.

Analysis ranks state No. 1 for alcohol's impact on lives

Federal revenue agent Frank Buckley arrived in 1929 to document Prohibition enforcement in Wisconsin. He found more tolerance for drinking than for Prohibition.

"Wisconsin," he wrote in his report to Washington, "is commonly regarded as a Gibraltar of the Wets — sort of a Utopia where everyone drinks their fill and John Barleycorn still holds forth in splendor."

Eighty years later, Wisconsin's reputation is intact. Alcohol goes hand-in-hand with tailgating, snowmobiling, deer hunting, kids' baseball games and even church functions.

"I've been drunker here than any place else I've been in my life," comedian Lewis Black told an audience in Madison. "And remember this: You are not — you are not — alcoholics. You, and my hat is off, are professionals."

But Wisconsin's legendary propensity for imbibing was grounded in a loose collection of statistics and anecdotes — until now.

My state comes in at #30 but I'm sure if it was broke down by county of each state, I'd come in a lot higher with the college kids being here

That number is totally screwed! No, I mean seriously. For instance, if your state has a beer tax and the higher the amount the more points you get. Hahaha. We don't have liquor stores because the state controls it. They are in fact called "State Stores" here in PA. And the map makes no allowance for it. I mean you know you drink heavy when every drop is controlled by the state.

Now according to this Minnesota is 8 while Pennsylvania is 26. Yeah, right! LMAO! My ass!!

I am so insulted, having single handedly drunk so much as to put my state over the top. The fact is that THIS fact is the only one that should be accounted for in terms of ranking:

Gallons of alcohol sold per capita:
MN: 14 (lmao!)
PA: 32 (yeah baby!!!)

So, there! :hic: :hic: :hic:

Minnesota is KICKING Pennsylvania's ass thank you very much. Sheesh.. some people's kids.

You'll notice you had to look it up to figure out what Everclear was. I just looked at the sentence and thought, "yeah, haven't had any of that in a while, we could do that".

Doesn't matter what my state does, everyone in Philly crosses the bridge (over the Delaware River) and buys in Joisey. :)
