Well, I watched his first episode about Cuchifritos and I really wanted to like it, but it sucked. The dude needs a writer really really bad.

I thought the guy had style. Granted its a little bit all over the place but nonetheless unlike anythig I had seen out there. He reminds me of Dragon King no lie. And any of yall that know DK understand why I say so.

This was the number 1 food podcast a year ago. ANd how can you go wrong when you got Wet Willie as your exit theme song?

I liked it. Cheesy script and all. What makes it work is the character. Personality sells. Everytime. Guy has my respect, not sure if I want his water beetle martini, but it was fun watching him trying to get those two guys in the car to taste it. I would put it on an alternative broadcast channel for sure. I think it would be easy to get sponsors. Maybe that Teleteria guy would by a spot.

Well I like the character but in the Cuchifritos episode the stuff with the waitress droned on and on and wasn't funny. At least give him something funny to say if he's going to act so campy. I think the character and creating a serious (real) show about food in this way is a great idea, I just think it was poorly done in some parts. And to be fair, the Cuchifrito one appeared to be the first so maybe they got better, I just haven't watched any of the other shows.
