I said it before, and I will say it again. Anyone attacking a partner of someone on any of my boards would be immediately banned. Without warning. Rcourt, your beef is with Graham, why bring his wife into it? That just shows desperation and a total lack of maturity and intelligence. Why attack someone who isn't here to fight back? As I said the last time you pulled this infantile crap, I don't know you, have never talked to you, and have never had anything against you. I hear what your saying Danny. Ive just not ever been much for banning people. Its the freedom of speech streak that Ive had since I was a kid.

Another one of my character flaws along with trying to do always do the right thing.

I guess I figure in the back of my mind that Darwinis theory takes care of all when it comes to this business.

I used to spare with Graham a few years ago and he is a fun guy to debate. I never had an occasion to bring his wife into our discussions as it was irrelevant. I actually do look forward to meeting them both.

Out of some of our heated discussions most on Ammasters I think we both found a healthy respect for the others style. I think it was you that once told me that Graham lot of times is bored and trying to get a rise out of people while his videos were rendering.

I guess piss has been a staple of this board since its been around. Im guilty of reintroducing it to the board I suppose but shady business practices seem to motivate me to do so. A lot of people ask me why do you hate so and so etc.

I can really think of one person in this business that pushed a button on that level and blatant pedophiles IMHO are no good for this business or society. Sex Education dude is long since gone. And thats really the only person in this business that Ive ever felt the need to make it personal.

The rest of the time I imagine Im just like Graham enjoying the rise that I get out of people while they all imagine that Im capturing screeens and printing out threads to make ready for a fed ex package to pose as a law suit.

I can say that I have had the good fortune to meet both Jace and Rcourt in person. Both seem to be genuine good people. Jace has managed to really carve his way into the word press side of this business and I wish him good fortune and hope that he sticks with it to make his mark even if its just as a personal milestone.

Rcourt has some really funny photoshops and one of those sense of humor that would probably serve him well on a blog. The new interactive style of blogs like Mike south has done where he actually interacts with people and has other writers would be a great platform for him. If not a money maker at least a creative outlet.

Maybe in this case is why Im reluctant to use the ban hammer. Ill remind you as personal as it got on both sides we never banned Confucy and that mess got very personal with both Serge and Kevin Mitnick. When you literally reach out from behind the screen and mess with someones life I dont think it gets any more personal.

The business is changing as it always does. I dont need to tell you this as youve seen it as much as I have and a lot more in depth.

I guess I need to be more aware that even though its my job to be the straw that stirs the drink its also my responsibility to set the example.

Maybe these guys can take the women out of the equation and find what it is they really have issue with each other.

Or maybe they will come to the point where they agree to disagree.

That being said I will admit that several of us decided that we must go to Cybernet Expo just to meet Graham and have an excuse to do some business. With that being a month away I certainly encourage others to consider doing so.

Well, here is my 2 cents' worth, if it's worth that much. I agree with everything Danny has said. Gonzo, why don't you do what I did on one forum when the kids could not get along, that is make a section/forum called "The Ring" where anything and everything goes, but it is not viewable by the public/search engines, only people in one specific group? People here are saying things and it will come back to bite them in the butt as far as future work.

You have to learn to except the good with the bad in that industry field.

If you doubt me look at Playboy's stock and its pitiful earnings. Heres one of the worlds MOST valuable, branded and prestigious libraries of content and these motherfuckers cant figure out how to sell it.

They didnt have a clue in the 80s when they met with BBS operators with this nifty 1-800 BBS for all you can eat all the while they wanted to hold back the better content for an upsell for the print magazine.

Talk about having the crown jewels in your hand and jacking off with it instead. They were POISED for the internet and yet they squandered it.

Dig in and make your place. Your in a position to call your own shots. You have a perspective on this industry that very very few have. Youve been content, your married to a star and you have some tech background that shows you understand.

In all honesty I could care less, like I told you the other night I am limiting myself to a only a few things in adult these days, and focusing my energies on only those thing, and the rest is dedicated to mainstream

rhetorical is just another guy on another forum, in other words he doesn't even enter my thoughts after I navigate from thread he is in, hell, the only time I have mentioned him off of oprano was talking to you the other day on icq, and that was a single line and it was done haha

the board might bring YOU more business, but that is because it is a board that is targeting business your way. I bet if you ask the other regulars here what business they have claimed from being a member of Oprano they wouldn't have much to tell you. From an end user stand point I really think you need to take a step back and think about whether you want a board that is going to make only you profitable or make all it's members profitable, and from there I think the other things people are saying will make more sense.

You have to have some order and sanity around here, otherwise people won't ever take it seriously...and there can be a nice mix of insanity and business, but right now there isn't the latter due to too much of the former

oh yeah, won't be in san fran for that show, the wife and I are going to Barcelona for 5 days, but I will be at Internext Florida, Atlanta Forum and Internext Vegas

I thought about Xbiz, but there is actually a huge apparel trade show we have to hit, and xbiz seems more like a party than anything

gonzo, people like rhetorical devalue your forum, I hope you realize that one day and know it will never be a true business forum with people like him throwing insults at every single person that tries to express any opinion. I am a full time, old school, internet worker, and every single day I try and figure out why I still bother posting here, and the only reason I can come up with is "because gonzo is my friend", but that excuse is wearing thin

hell, you pretty much already have most of the atlanta adult industry crowd barely wanting to post here because of the crap they are given when they try and even make one post....but maybe that is what you want, a huge fighting forum, where everyone on here fights and fights til one person leaves and never comes back?
