Let's see.

He posts over at NetPond and trys to change the terms of the deal.

The deal to not post about the shit did not mention any particular board, thread, post. It said that he wouldn't continue to post about the shit.

But he wants it to be confined to Oprano only or some such. Which wasn't the deal.

Now, it appears to me that one of the complaints that someone (couchsitter) had against Mark started with the fact that couchsitter went to Mark to do a girls porn site and ended up getting pushed into a gay site. Then when the gay site didn't work out for couchsitter, Mark tried to claim that he had nothing to do with it being used as a gay site.

Wonder how many other folks have come to him for one thing and ended up with something else?

Changing terms after the fact is not the way good business is done. At least imho of course.

But he has shown that he is incapable of keeping a deal and that speaks volumes about him.

Those that prey on others as a business model to survive often seek respect.

Both in themselves and from others.

I met Shellee a year ago in the crown room at the Tampa airport. Several of us observed the usual suspects sucking up to her. Company reps that make less than 30K a year telling her that they were people she needed to know. [now they are unemployeed].

Other reps that drank on her bar tab the entire day and lingered on to invite themselves to dinner all the while not paying for jack shit. Nice way of representing one company all the while working another angle in that same wornout Tommy Bahama. [now they have their own program and hound her to sponsor their "debutant coming out party".]

And then you have the more experienced smooth, suave and self styled sophisticated guys that have been around a while. You know the ones. They have left this business to fleece the morons in the mainstream only to come back running the same old cookie cutter tours and not paying out because you are a cheater. They tell her that they can make her or break her in this business.

Better go price a tool belt at Home Depot because the days of surviving on prechecked cross sales and scamming the surfer are at its close. Dont forget the loop for a roofing hammer!

Shellee told me that she got into this business by a fluke. Look at her resume. Shes white bread mainstream. All she wanted to do was to get back into some consulting. Shes west coast so she calls it life coaching.

I saw a woman that had been smooth talked into changing her business model from what she knew into what she didnt know. After all you cant demand additional 17% holdback on top of CCBills 17% holdback or charge fees to access a preformers database if the client is doing mainstream consulting.

My solicited advice remained the same.

Terminate your service and find something else / anything else that shows a profit.

I cant imagine having a turn key system from a company that consistantly doesnt have models online for days /weeks at a time.

Any affilaite thats sending traffic there is nothing short of a fucking fool.

So, let's see, she went to them (meaning 2Mooch.net) to get a mainstream site but she ended up in an adult site???

Damn, that would explain a lot wouldn't it.

It also adds to the pattern. Do a deal but afterwards redefine the terms (by hook or by crook I would guess)

So, Mark, how many other newbies you scammed, er I mean fleeced, er, no that's not the fucking word, ah I remember now, it's "helped" along the way?

It might "explain a lot" if that were the case, but it isn't. Initially she wanted to do two sites, one adult, one mainstream.

She had every intention of doing an adult site before she came to us as the registration date/s for her domain name/s show.

She wisely chose to temporarily suspend one project over the other in order to be able to devote the time and attention each deserved.

I think she chose to do the adult site because of the availability of content.

Well, since I have no idea of when she came to you, I cannot confirm or deny that one.

Edited in: I just hit Shellee up and she said she doesn't want to talk about this shit anymore but I did get out of her that she asked for the contracts on April 20, 2007.

I looked at Sexyteasers.com domain history and that shows a registration date of April 20, 2007 too.

So, which adult domains that she registered before talking to you guys are you talking about.

Actually here's a post where she confirms it:

I like Shellee. She's very nice, she's intelligent, and she has a lot of general business savvy. However, if you combine that with being female and attractive, it basically makes you the equivalent of a wounded zebra trying to mix with a bunch of hungry lions.

GonZo is dead on about Tampa. I was having myself a much needed nap in the Crown Room as a result of WAY too many Goose Drivers and a WAY too early flight. But I'm one of the world's worst about going to a show and people watching first. Fair chance I will have watched how someone conducts themselves for a while before I'll even consider doing business.

By day two at that show, everyone had asked who Shellee was and word had made it's way thru every money hungry person there that she had money and was looking to expand into the business. The passing of this news was often accompanied by salivation.

Now combine all that with her being pretty generous when it comes to picking up a bar or dinner tab and now a lot of them seek her out at shows. The Anal Hobbit plan for doing a show on the cheap is alive and well.

I've personally become so jaded, that I dont think I will ever hire or source anything from within industry again. Most have no real business skills, do not want to do a solid days work, let alone work 40 hours or more a week. They expect to be paid a premium and will only stick around until they find the next job that'll pay a few bucks more. And they'll typically score that job based on your reputation as much as their own and/or the skills you teach them.

I wonder who you're under the impression did the smooth talking? I saw a woman who saw that two projects was taking on more than she could handle alone, and who decided to go with one over the other based on the availability of content.

Actually we were more excited by the prospect of using our software for a mainstream project than another adult site. It was more dismay when she chose adult over mainstream, to tell you the truth.

If you're under the impression that we demand an additional holdback on top of CCBill's, you're mistaken.

It isn't really a turnkey system, it's much more than that.

Your statement about the online models is a gross misrepresentation of the facts.

If you're doing so deliberately, it's a blatant lie.

If you're not doing so deliberately, then it's extremely uninformed and will make anyone who actually goes to the site not think too highly of you or your opinions, or at the very least your ability to research your statements.

You are so full of shit and you know it.

How come you didn't point to this post in the same thread:

Shellee's been in this business less than a year.

Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: SEXYTEASER.COM
Created on: 20-Apr-07
Expires on: 20-Apr-09
Last Updated on: 26-Dec-07

That was her first adult domain and she asked us if she should register it... I said yes, and that was the last advice she took...

So, again, she came to you guys for a mainstream site and you sold her on adult. Yes or no?

Hmmm. Yep you are right about that. There is a whole 4 models on line now.

No.

She came to us for two sites which she wanted to develop simultaneously, one adult and one mainstream.

However because of the work involved in that, and the fact that her adult site would be launched much sooner, and the fact that our sotware didn't do everything she wanted for her mainstream site, she made the decision to focus on the adult site alone.

Why would I point to a post where I was wrong and didn't address your statement about being unable to confirm or deny her intentions when she came to us?

That post you quote came before, when I was wrong.

I let her statement confirm that she came to us planning on an adult site.

Why am I full of shit?

Because, from what I can tell, she was not talking about an adult domain at that point.

But you point me to the post where she names the domain she is talking about and I will look, but I didn't read it that way.

Edited in:

Ok I found that actual post where the quote comes from and it was sexyteaser that she was talking about.

But the whois and domain hostory show that it was created on April 20. I believe she is stating there that she bought it before she knew you (you yourself, not 2much.net).

No she is stating that she was interested in adult and exploring the business before she came to us; it was as she was at least doing the preliminary research that she came across us.

If anything we may have wanted her to develop a mainstream site, since that would please us most :)
