Use a standard affiliate revshare link to a site, then click through to the join page. Upon closing the join page a chat window appears and a warning dialog (see screen-cap1.jpg) Take note that the nats revshare code starts with MTMy.

Upon clicking OK the message in the dialog box then instructs to click OK to continue or Cancel to stay on the page. If you stay on the page and then move over to the chat window, it mentions a $14.95 special price with links to click.

Clicking one of those links opens a new join page, and a popup with a whole bunch of traffic leaks affiliates get nothing out of. (see screen-cap2.jpg)

Closing that popup and looking at the new join page with the $14.95 pricing you'll find that the affiliate revshare code in the address bar is now different. (see screen-cap3.jpg) The code starts with MTQz, not the code for the original affiliate that sent the traffic.

A programming error no doubt.

WOW! That'll piss off a lot of affiliates. Has it hit the zoo yet?

Allot of programs are using it now.
I've seen several big programs with it

http://www.upsellit.com/

I can't speak on whether or not who is giving affiliates credit for it,
when your jumping from one site to another there are allot of parsing issues
and who knows what goes on.

it's no different than a console tour.
As long as the affiliate is aware its an ok practice

give them an option for a no console tour and lower payout

As we get into the next generation of porn savvy surfers were going to be seeing allot
off the wall antics and acrobatics to get that bottom line back.

...A programming error no doubt.

It was a rogue third party sales recovery service provider, yeah that's it.
